I suggest that a fruitful line of enquiry into the reported differences between gender differentiated performance in doing maths and reading (and perhaps even other activities) is to look at the questions

Why do people do maths?

The females utilize different neural pathways in deducing answers to questions and in problem solving methodologies. They also use a larger and less concentrated portion of the brain. Their thinking tends to be a bit more tangential and abstract and less linear.

 

 

You state these as absolutes where they are really just trends; women may tend to do these things to a larger extent than males (if they are true) but not all women will, while some proportion of men will also do them to some extent.

The anxiety is not particularly a result of society problems. I do think that there is some noise. The problem is likely wrong friendships and unbiblical item use.
