I believe the mind consists of two parts of conciousness, the unconcious and the concious. There is a barrier between these two, which is hard to break. When one tries to break it, it only partially tears, and the man goes insane.

:)

this little gem is now safely locked in the holding area, and to protect the innocent I`ll not use the quote:

"There couldn`t have been such a thing as the Big Bang because it would have destroyed everything."

that is by FAR the funniest one liner I`ve read to date on here :)

I know!

"For the love of Jebus, Dictionary.com is not a technical resource."

Use webster.com ;)

you have to love quotes from sayo.

It could be, but I choose to believe that ICE CREAM! ICE CREAM! DOG MAN SITS AND HANDS OUT ICE CREAM! and then we all got to where we are now.

On a more serious note I like this one:

As a member of society, you really ought to be more aware of what is going on around you. It affects everyone, and some of them are probably people you care for.

On a more humorous note I like this one:

Do you have a measuring device scaled in inches or centimetres? If so, can you report back to us with an indication of how far up your ass you have your head buried?

Oh I loved this one-

The absence of marmalade on my face is quite observable too.

But is that evidence of marmalade-eating face lickers?

Well' date=' I hate to be narcissistic, but I did have a good laugh from this one, in the same thread.

...By saying that I cannot see your intestines, or Sayo's face-lickers, but they have been proven to exist (for there is no marmalade on Sayo's face)...

Another thread-

Style? ExtraSense?

":-) I am Master of Science. :)

"how is math performed in other countries where english isnt the primary language? math has some tricky stuff and i cant picture calculus in anything other than numbers." -sepultallica

Lol. :D Yeah, we don't have numbers here in Finland. We count in reindeers.

LOL this is the best, a reply to this one:

Exactly like I have stated can a Heisenberg's principle ever be overuled, be technology be created to account for HUP that can actually give measurements for the position and velocity of objects.

I am uncertain about that. The moment I take a clear position on it I just can't tell where it's going to take me. My friend says he knows exactly where he's headed with it, but frankly I can't tell where he's coming from.

:D

just to please JaKiri i posted this here to and the original can be removed:

i remember now... the best one which was too long to fit as my sig:

How so?

In the same way that cats and chairs are.

Honestly' date=' don't you know any physics? :)[/quote']

No...I've been faking it. :D

that one rocked (remember that swansont is a physicist)

i cant concede that i cant prove god doesnt exist simply because he doesnt exist. i dont know that. - sepultallica

In response to a thread titled "do any scientists study philosophy scientifically"

Studying philosophy 'scientifically' would be like stirring a spoon with some soup.
Perhaps we shouldn't quite go to the wave-particle function collapsing whatevergizmos. It's scaring Schrodinger's cat!
