Ben Stein stands up for ID in new movie: Expelled

Featured Replies

Ben Stein documents what he considers to be academic suppression of intelligent design proponents in a new movie:

Check out Big Science Academy, where he sarcastically lampoons prevailing scientific opinion:

He's tossing Einstein and Galileo into those expelled from "Big Science Academy" for good measure:

We are hearing the final hurrah from the dwindling followers of a redundant myth. Creationism* appears to be getting louder but really it's just a very slow bang that it is going out with. One more movie isn't a serious threat.

*I'm trying to stop saying ID, it implies that they actually are different things.

I'm not so sure about that. Creationism commands the loyalty of quite a few more hundreds of millions of people than I'd like to think about at least.

Oh Ben Stein... I used to like that guy. :-(

What is an intellectual-type Jewish guy supporting intelligent design? I thought it was just ignorant southern protestants.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

Or cdesign proponentsists in any number.
