Bolton claims about planning coups (Hijacked from War Games: Russia Takes Ukraine...)

Featured Replies

On Tuesday on CNN’s “The Lead,” former Trump White House national security adviser John Bolton made a weird admission: he had “helped plan” coups d’état previously.

Bolton told host Jake Tapper he did not think Trump’s actions leading up to the January 6 House Select Committee rose to the level of a coup. https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2022/07/12/bolton-admits-to-planning-coups-during-cnn-appearance/

After Bolton's confessions, Venezuela called the US authorities a criminal gang

And I call you persistently unable to post relevant on-topic facts.

Never mind the man behind the curtain... hey!! Look over there!!!

Split because this has nothing to do with the original thread (and I can't help but think iNow's assessment is correct. This smacks of a desperate attempt at distraction). Please stop doing that.

The thing is, Tapper is correct. We're just lucky that Trump and gang fall under the same umbrella as the Watergate crowd, as Hal Holbrook said as Deep Throat in All the President's Men, "Forget the myths the media's created about the White House. The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand."

If they had been marginally more competent, they might very well have succeeded.

Also: Bolton should probably be in jail for his efforts - to use his words - "not here, but, you know, other places"

This is where DeSantis is such a huge risk. All the Donald Trump without the Keystone Cops... Much more competence and ability from him and his team to execute upon their fascistic visions.
