  1. dont u mean it loses energy to then be gained?

    Soap

making soap looks a lot like making bio diesel, lol. crasy.
  3. dunno then, but i knwo that lens do have this in them. lol. u can see them if u have a street light at the side of your face and the little beams will show, but thats the lens, dunno what else it is.
  4. I want some, try and get a mix of helium and that stuff to sound normal, lol.
  5. lol. if some one is asking if the gas is lighter than another gas then I dont think they would be thinking about the atomic weight.
  6. Anyone else get the feeling that this has gone way off a very simple question? It was obvious what he was trying to say.
  7. lol. lower density at a simple quess
  8. if you collect you own elements, or want an atmosphere that will not react with, then you need argon. oxygen is just something I like playing with
  9. I've not found anyother sites that sell argon gass, but this was the first place I came across, they also sell pure o2. £15 for 2 x 1li bottles ( 2 x 60li of gas) What do you think? http://www.welduk.com/Results1.asp?Category=37
  10. Keep the voltage around 3V and have th amps as you wish, higher the better. you will get a great results that way.
  11. Which is what the voltage is, lol. thats all I was saying, I wasnt in any way saying the currect didnt effect it, I know it does, bigger the fast it goes. I'll be back.
  12. Puts new meaning to "bangers and mash", lol. Or maybe not,
  13. what I mean is say you have the voltage, at level 1, it makes one oxygen molecule on the node, if you increase the voltage to level 2, then it makes 2 molecule of oxygen on the node. There are different levels for the atoms being used. I'll find some web stuff to explain what I’m trying to say, lol. Never comes out right. just an example if you try copper plating with copper sulphate solution, you will get good results at low voltage, but if you crank up the voltage the o2 bond with the copper and makes copper cuprite (or what ever its called).
  14. The current effects the rate at which this happens like you say, I'm just adding to the info. With some mixes of electrolyte, different compounds are made at the nodes. I'll find some web info to show you what I mean, but the voltages jumps the ions to higher levels and so they create slightly different compounds, e.g., xxo2 xxo3 xxo4 etc you get the idea, (this is not a real thing just example) I'll be back.
  15. lol. A friend of mine has done the wrogn gas tap thing, but the gas went straight across the burner he was wanting to turn off, flames away, lol. well funny.
  16. Yeah I did all that stuff in my A-levels. The wave length of light that we can see is between 700nm - 400nm. There is no way that a hole small enought for this to happen would even be visable to you eye. go read this http://www.netasia.net/users/truehealth/Pinhole%20glasses.htm this will explain what I've been trying to say. you idea is fine, but not what is happening, And this, http://www.exo.net/~pauld/summer_institute/summer_day3eye_and_brain/pin_and__hole.html Pin hole glasses.
  17. @5614, the PD does sometimes come into play with other things, there is different voltages to create different compounds. But you are fully right regarding the current. And then a big spark sets it off, lol.
  18. lol. this part for the UK doesnt have good beer, I'm from S.yorkshire, but havent been home for a while now, The acsent has gone mostly, but its still there proud as punch, but clear. It has to be as I work for IT help desk for the Uni, and you get students from all over the world and its hard to speak sometimes. better to go to B'ham via train as its only £2, all sounds good to me. I'll bring the axe, heheheee.
  19. wow, if you turn them they make power. never turned a motor into a generator? The motor from the bottom of the MW which turns the table is a geared motor and I know for a fact it works, I'll find my old one and send it to you if you really dont trust my word. I found out this worked by shocking my self, then built it from there. The power comes from you turning the motor.
  20. lol. well if you think it's BS then that's your loss. Its pretty basic, the caps charge from the motor which turns at 5.5 rpm with a supply of 240V, now I know I've had a good 3k out of this little thing. you are just turing the motor into a geared generator which gives out a high voltage, you can even make fluro tubes light up, but I must be talking BS. I Think you think that it makes an arc? It doesnt but it will give you a big shock. I'll find it out and show you the pics etc, I made a new one a few years back, come to think about it I'll make a new one. Edit: Take one motor, put one diode in series to stop the caps dischargin via the motor. have th caps in parralle. thats it done. dia. m = motor d = diode c = caps x how ever many l is just a bend, lol. (M)---------(D)-------©-------- L___________________I_________ <---- person
  21. lol. I'd love to see some red smoke, pufff and the table has gone, lol.
  22. now I'v got the time, the way I made my stunner was to get some of thoese green plastic (the ones in resin) caps, around 150V I think, them in parra (hehe I know i know). This is for storing the charge. To make the charge, find an old microwave oven and get the motor off the bottom, the one than moves you food around. but that with the caps plus a diode to stop them de-charging through the motor/generator. get something to turn the motor, and bame you have a sunner which only needs a few tunes, 5 turns did well for me. Good luck.
  23. great idea, if they arnt getting an education then army for you lad. As my self is at Coventry Uni, (just down the raod from you yt, yam yams, grr) anyways I'll just get my self mad at them and thats not good. lol.
  24. I hate running, but I can cycle for miles and miles, I love racing cars at the lights, lol. grrrrr
  25. Australians weren't shot, they were sailed away. lol. So what do you think should happen to them? What gives them the right to take your stuff? They dont just take your stuff they also take a little of your peace of mind, with out a doubt you will be thinking about it and when is it going to happen again, there is more taken than just the items. People who dont work for things shouldn't have anything, too many free loaders in the UK if you ask me, I know I lived ina youth hosp with 40 of them, evry down and out from places you dont even want to think about. But thats another story. as for sending them all to another country, whats so bad about it? we get rid of the ones we dont want and they in time learn to be come civil, a win win for all. pretty good idea when you think about it, wait til you get your house robbed day in day out and tell me that they should be let off, lol.
