  1. Supplements in shops are for maintenance, not fixing a deficiency as the type and dosage may be wrong. Deficiencies need facetime with a doctor. Reference: My doctor.
  2. If Gazans were spread out, they have about 150m2 of land each. It has one of the highest population densities in the world. I did a back of the envelope sum yesterday. Not all of that 140km2 will be habitable to hold the 2 million population. They have even less space now the high-rises are getting blown up. Compressing people like that can only perpetuate animosity. Likud want to wipe out/evict Palestinians, so that they can realize their biblical colonial fantasy. This, I think, is their ultimate raison de etre and where their current actions are leading. Philosophically, where one has peace of mind, I equate that with a proper sense of freedom.
  3. Yep and less fluid to change their approach as situations change.
  4. The rhetoric the Israeli administration has been coming out with shows that they are no better. I found it interesting the difference in attitudes between some US college admin and their students is quite marked. The students tending to be pro-Palestinian, saying things like "Nothing happens in a vacuum" and the admin outraged at them for not viscerally responding. There seems to be an age thing going on there.
  5. Israel has lowered itself to the same level in response. Children constitute about 50% of the Palestinian population and they are currently getting blown to bits by remote control because Israel is trying to kill the 0.5% that is Hamas.
  6. I see the President is priority-shipping more artillery shells and missiles to help Israel flatten Gaza.
  7. Zap means gravity, methinks.
  8. Unusual about face from the EU. Looks like they reacted with their guts, then thought about it:
  9. The last one was that railway tester that fell off iirc.
  10. Iron DOME is for incoming rockets etc, not people. It was a multi-pronged attack and the rockets were a distraction method.
  11. Another thing I notice in our media focus, is the amount of detail we are seeing and reports from the Israelis, with their vastly superior media resources, to overwhelm the optics towards Palestinians..
  12. Yes, they don't have a lot of options. This is not out of the blue if one follows it frequently, as I'm sure you two agree. Hamas have compressed in a short time what Israel does everyday to them.
  13. Batteries are dear... £5000+. More gadgets and repair costs. Probably, there isn't the user base yet to bring the costs down.
  14. I know, but it's over-kill, and as for showing strength, which is the US motive, can Hamas even see it? I'm sure they don't have much radar and recon capability.
  15. That's why they took hostages. They might be fatalistic, but they aren't stupid. From what I've been reading it was a very well-planned operation and obviously feinted their intent to everyone sufficiently until the day.
  16. Do you know what a strawman is? Funny can mean bizarre.
  17. An aircraft carrier in a street fight... about as much use as chocolate hand grenade. That's why it's funny.
  18. As an afterthought: Will Netanyahu try to bury his legal problems in amidst the Western faux outrage and hand-wringing we are seeing?
  19. Funny. All the technology in the world won't beat commitment to a cause. As Ukraine shows as well earlier in the war and it is still pretty artisanal in its weapon development.
  20. This wouldn't happen in a private company, with profit as it's core motive?
