Oh dear. Have you watched this video. They show several different ways. The one showing where the liquid is put in a pen at 1.06 and using your stencil above looks right for you I think and no need for lacquer. Note the stencil is stuck down in the vid, so you may need to do that each time.

You can fully matte the lacquer with a Scotchbrite pad when you are done and it's cured properly. I did that on my gloss guitar and it came out great. Just maintain one direction until it looks even then wipe with a damp cloth to clean it.

If that fails, you can get high temperature clear lacquer if that's the problem. It's not too dear. At least you now know the source of the bleeding and that's a good result. Are you using the same lacquer as other people that do it?

Yes, it's still bleeding. I'll ponder on it. I think it's the wood. It wants to be dead smooth by planing, ideally, I think.

Don't let the sealer spray droplets join up into a liquid film when you spray, as that is when it will run under the stencil. Do light sprays and each time going for an orange peel effect. In a nutshell, you are spraying each layer too heavily so that it can run... go for a more powdery spray effect. When it's all done and dried properly you can smooth the orange peel effect with a light sanding action with the green side of a washing up sponge or one of those green plastic scouring pads to give a satin finish.

I found this method: The clear coat is thicker, so it wont bleed under the vinyl, then when the vinyl's removed, the clear coat won't allow the chloride to bleed passed the clear coat. You just might have to reverse how you make your stencil, whether it's a positive or a negative of your design. Seems like a workable solution. A rubber-faced roller might be useful to make sure the stencil edges are stuck firmly before clear coating

Then you are seeing blurred in that section. The bringing into focus in such games is happening in the brain, not in the eye. Depth perception is a mental construct where information is taken from both eyes and processed in the brain to create 3D. You are probably doing this processing for that aspect there i'e it's not a raw ability of the eye.
