  1. From some Gulf War veterans I've ben told that it was the Agent Orange that messed with the people from Gulf War and gave them Cancer like effects.
  2. I rather go with shooting someone with salt.
  3. Many people would consider this pseudoscience. Being able to use my mind to conversate with nature is fun though. It's not really over, it's about being part. Of course your wife is part of you, and you part of her. Therefore she commands through her mind for you to take out the trash, you understand this since you can comprehend her transmission, and thus it is done.
  4. You don't think the universe is unlimited?
  5. I understand it because the universe supposedly has infinite expansion. Plus since we are analog beings we can work to an infinite amount of possibilities. Infinity is a great thing.
  6. Matrix wa nan desu ka. The military uses virtual reality simulators. There are many video game arcades that track your motions in a fighting game to have your character throw punches at the other character. It's there..
  7. So this guy walks into a bar and he falls down.
  8. A Psychology class won't do it. The Art of Seduction and The 48 laws of power By: Robert Greene Might help you. In any case, most women for some odd reason are ... i got banned for doing this last time.. >_< Well, how do I put this nicely. Being that I've never had a real girlfriend, kissed, hugged, sex, etc.. I'd like to say that the best way to find an inexperienced woman is just to ask them if they ever had. If they haven't take some interest into the girl and hang out with her and she'll eventually fall in love and then romance will happen and so forth. Simply a psychology class won't teach you about this. Why do some girls like to play head games? Because they are sociopaths. This is the era where people think they are cool stuff, but I know in the end I'm the ultimate sociopath so nothing gets around me. Learn to read people. Show no emotion when they speak, that's also a good way to tell if someone is lying. Read their actions, think about what they are doing. If all else fails, stalk them.
  9. The only true thing that comes to mind is two things. 1. Light has a subatomic/subquantum part to it. 2. You must learn to somehow harness light at an exponential level and use it to go faster than a single exponential level. I think that the reason it would be scary to go faster than light is because you would enter a dimension/world/w/e place that would be somewhere without time and space. I can only imagine complete darkness. Mass can not exist without light. Without light on a particular spot, in my idea, nothing would take its place. It would somehow be a spherical area or perhaps a bend within a dimensional hole that you would have to figure out how to get out of once entered into. Perhaps if you were to gather light infront of a moving object and then shoot it out from the backside, you could use the light to harness the vehicle and go fast as light while moving. While attracting the light infront of you it would create a pull and you would be able to exit the current hole you went into and perhaps fill it back up with light. I dunno.
  10. It's a real story. Well, you could say he went insane, I mean.. he learned that stuff at an excellerating rate at such a young age.. AND.. When was the last time the boyscouts gave out nuclear badges? WTF??!!1 He also hid the stuff from his parents and didn't use good enough protection. I think he was smart in gathering his supplies, stupid in safety precaution, and insane at learning new things at a rapid rate.
  11. Alright, whoever has seen DBZ knows that Vegeta trained in the gravity chamber bulma's dad made for him so that he could get strong at excellerating rates. For those of you who don't know about this thing i'll give a bit of detail.. Imagine an environment where you can control the gravity and how much there is. 2 times earth's gravity, 4 times, 12 times... whatever number you choose The thing is, in this environment you will be able to walk around, exercise, jog if you want to, and so forth. In the show, Vegeta raises the level of gravity in the chamber to become more intense as he becomes stronger so he can gain more physical strength. The idea behind all of this is that being in an environment like this while increase gravity will allow you to become stronger and faster once brought into the regular earth atmospher and gravity. If you were to live on a planet with a human body in a place that has 10x earth's gravity and then come to earth, you would be 10x stronger than most humans. Could such a gravity chamber be built? The factors of returning your body into a regular state of pressure will be a necessity once leaving the chamber or falling asleep I believe.
  12. So basically to make the bacteria work over time, you need to stimulate them with electrical impulses. I question this though because they create carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is the factor here which isn't truly broadened upon. How much carbon dioxide to hydrogen do they produce from "dead materials"? What's the ratio? It's an interesting topic but I wonder how effective they could be and how fast they can multiply. Plus, I wouldn't be stupid enough to tear apart a satellite for resources. That's just stupid. It could cause chaotic disorder along with a number of other things. I would rather do it to a distance planet that in uninhabitable and accessable.
  13. Snort it. --edit-- There's probably some pH test you can do since many types of asprin increase the pH level in the blood to increase blood flow to take away the headache and other aches and pains.
  14. D_Noonian, that's about artificial brains? I think Bio-Hazard is referring to Brain-Computer Interface technology. There's an interesting war among scientists about what a cyborg is. Will you have a CNS altered body or a brain altered body. CNS will be a type of cyborg technology, and so will brain-computer interface technology. If I'm correct. Warwick seems to be using Central Nervous System technology by moving around and having electrical signals drawn out to devices so that doors open from remote control and so forth. Simply put, CNS would make a good Doc-Ock from spiderman. From what I have read, people are using artificial hippocampuses on labrats. The hippocampus is the part of the brain that controls new information being recieved and making it into a long term memory. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Brain-computer_interface I question how much you may really need to know about this technology. I have yet much to learn myself. I figure that learning as much about the human brain is a must and electronic technology will be a very important thing also to the nanoscale.
  15. People forget it's the people at the school that makes it worth while, not the name of the school and what they have done. Considering that, think about what schools have obtained funding for more equipment and so forth. MIT is leet though.
  16. YT is scary, not because of the sunglasses, because they could probably blow me up with materials around them within a two block radius or just take apart the motorbike with a Victorinox SwissChamp and do it that way. Other than that, I wear sunglasses so that people can't see if my eyes are open or not it's not about being badass, it's about you not knowing i'm looking at you. If you consider that badass, that's you. Plus I like to take away people who are trained to tell if i'm lying. I also don't like adding to facial emotion. Basically I'm badass. Other than that, yeah, it is bright outside. Hot also. Hasn't rained in Rockford for a while. Hit the front page today.
  17. pFFHT. I went on Atkins and sat around all day. I use to weigh 340, now i'm 200.
  18. Well, isn't a black hole suppose to be created if you get absolute zero or something? I figure if you can get something hot enough, you could create matter. But anything can be brought to a cold degree and hot degree. In principle and practice it can happen, it just hasn't been discovered yet.
  19. Got one? I might be willing to buy it from you used for $25. PM me.
  20. Why would you want to be an officer? That's an eight year commitment isn't it? And they only obtain about $30k a year. pffht. sux for cash. food allowance isn't good either. Shoot man, if I were going into the military I'd do ROTC chemical engineer and then become an 18A. That way I could bust out my skillz and blow the crap out of people in wartime. And i'd be doing it for 8 years. 8 years i'd be kicking people's arses with chemical warfare. If i were doing navy though i'd wanna work on teh weaponz. Insane PM afterwards...
  21. Careful about sparks, things will blow up and go BOOM and then you'll go to sleep and wake up in a room full of white.
  22. I did this test a while back. It means very little to me. I never figured it out. A rose has an underdetermined amount of petals and is always different. In a variable world you can say something is what it is, but in real life in the physical world where things are atomically and have different quantum mechanics, they are not the same. edit: I googled it like a lazy anarcho-punk. I know how to do it now. It's stupid. I rather spend my time making nitrogen triodide. Plus I think the six should be a four. That's probably why I didn't see it at first - pssh stupid game creators. Oh well, screw exercising my brain. Why do that when I can exercise my search-fu? I gain 2 rank in my Search skill for d20. ownage!
  23. The rich would not determine this. The ones of moral value, intelligence, and meek abilities shall inherit the world.
