g(x) = ln (x-2), x>2 (x is a real number) The question says find g inverse. I have no problem finding the function, but I met difficulty in looking for the domain. The domain of g inverse is the range of g, but I cannot find the range of g, so do we have to state the domain of g inverse?

A purse at radius 2.00m and a wallet at radius 3.00m travel in uniform circular motion on the floor of a merry-go-round as the ride turns. They are on the same radial line. At one instant, the acceleration of the purse is (2.00 m/s2) i +(4.00 m/s2)j. At that instant and in unit-vector notation, what is the acceleration of the wallet? Can somebody give me some hints on how to tackle this question? What is the relation between the radius of the individual items and their acceleration? I just started on this topic yesterday. =.=

Hey I was just wondering if anyone could help me. I have a space colony project which requires to build a colony on mars. My question is how to create artificial gravity cuz that is 1 of the requirements. I was thinking if my colony was shaped like a donut and there was a giant spinning wheel in the middle there would be enough centripetal force to give artificial gravity to my colony. Also, if please dont give me any ideas that require the colony to be in orbit around mars; I want the colony to actually be on the surface. Thanks in advance:D

Yo, I am a 17 year old student and one day I saw this question in my textbook. "Acids are added to cola drinks to lower the pH to about 2.5 to impart tartness. Show that a cola that contains from 0.057 to 0.084% of 75% phosphoric acid (H3PO4), by mass, meets this pH requirement. " Can somebody explain the "0.057 to 0.084% of 75% phosphoric acid (H3PO4), by mass"? I don't quite get it.

Numbering Squares: The numbers 1 to 25 are to be placed on a black and white ( like a checker board) 5 X 5 grid so that each number, except 1, is next to, horizontally or vertically, the number one less than it. (note: all the corners are black squares) a. Explain why the number 1 must be placed on a black square. b. Explain why the numbers 1, 3, 5,7, 9 can not all be placed on one long diagonal. c. Show that in a completed numbering the sum of the numbers on a long diagonal must be at least 33 and that 33 can occur.

Hey guys, My names Leanne I'm in grade 10 in Australia and am searching for an experiment to match my interests in toothpaste. Kinda strange I know. but while I was watching TV last night i noticed that every toothpaste claimed to be the dentists choice. so I want to create an experiment regarding the efficiently of toothpaste compared to each other. The main problem I can see with this is all the variables are going to be really difficult to control. So heres my question how can I create a fairly cheap re-creation of teeth and plaque? I realize that using peoples teeth to actually carry out my experiments would mean that I could come to no certain conclusio…

Hi , these were my homework problems: I am keen in maths, but i am just not that good at it please help me. The number 53214 has five digits: 1,2,3,4,5. It has an unusual property. The number 532 is divisible by 4 ; the number 321 is divisible by 3 ; and the number 214 is divisible by 2. a. Show that the number 41325678 , which has eight digits 1, 2,.....,8, has a similar property: its first three digits form a number divisible by 7, the three digits following the first digit form a number divisible by 6, and so on. Let ABCDEFGH be an eight digit number where A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H are the digits 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 in some order. For example A= 4, B=1, C=3, D=2, …

Help!: 1. A 14 g coin slides upward on a surface that is inclined at an angle of 16° above the horizontal. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the coin and the surface is 0.23; the coefficient of static friction is 0.31. Find the magnitude and direction of the force of friction under the following circumstances. (a) when the coin is sliding .03 N parallel to the incline up the incline down the incline (b) after it comes to rest .012 N parallel to the incline down the incline up the incline 2. Q1: Calculate the amount of 6M HCl that would be required to neutralize and acidify (to ~pH2) the reaction mixture of 1g Benzaldehyde and 2mL 10M KOH. I think this is the chemical equation: Benzaldehyde + KOH + H+ -> Benzyl Alcohol + Benzoic Acid Q2: 64% yield of 1,1 - diphenylethanol and a 16% yield of biphenyl is isolated from the complete reaction of 1.70g of acetophenone. Determine the masses of the two products. Q3: In the reaction of cyclohexylmagnesium bromine with butanone, the Grignard reagent was prepared from 6.0g of cyclohexyl bromide and was then treated with a solution of 3.9g butanone in 25mL of "wet " diethyl ether (the ether contains 1.0% of …

Hello everyone, As an engineering student at the University of Leuven (Belgium), I was given a task to determine the effect of the polarization of laser beams on the maximum cutting speed that can be reached with these beams. I haven't found anything that could help me out on the net, and specialized libraries only had more common books about lasers. So I'd be glad if someone could give me a little information on this subject. I was thinking in the direction of energy contained in polarized electromagnetic waves, but I suppose that's not the only factor... Thanks already, Jan

I can't seem to find what these explanations refer to in my book. Also, second one made no sense to me. Muscles that work in concert? Is there any other concert that rock 'n' roll concert? Thanks. I appreciate this. It would be great if I can get reply soon.
