Does anyone have any ideas for physics experiments?

Any specific kind of physics??

Anything really, money is a factor though. Nothing more than 1000$.

What type of audience is the experiment directed to?

Measure the speed of light with cables... it costs about $15, and its really accurate and really cool.

You could always shoot someone and describe the trajectory of the bullet.

Create a cathode-ray tube, because they're cool and shiny and stuff.

 

Or build a spark chamber, they're pretty funky also.

With a flashlight and a stopwatch.

I also had an idea of making an atom smasher.

I just recently measured the wavelength of sodium light by Newton's Rings for a physics investigation, turned out to be more accurate than I thought as well. I managed to get it within 2 nm of the accepted value, 589 nm. Has anyone else used this method and what kind of value did they get?
