bloodhound Posted August 22, 2004 Share Posted August 22, 2004 well. whether it sounds silly or not. it was originally aluminium. so thats the end of that. most people in UK are starting to use prorgram for both "program" and "programme" if i understand correctly. the program is used for computer programs and programme is used to describe stuff on tele also ... and English Billion, is a Million Million. compared to american billion , which is a thousand million.
