Is there any evidence of complex communication among squid(giant and/or normal)?

 

I would amend the above slightly to ask, "beyond the visual information communicated by their bioluminescent displays." As an add-on, we might ask "what type of progress have we made in interpreting those visual displays."

What as of yet unanswered questions in oceanography would you realistically hope to see answers to in your lifetime? Are there famous unsolved problems for oceanographers like there are for physicists?

What`s the size of its larvae ?

Do they form part of the surface`s zooplankton ?
