Alright, I don't know where I got this mineral, I jus found it in my closet, lol.
It seems to consist of pinkish crystals in a light purple background. The purple background has a streak of white, and the pink crystals are very hard, and dont have much of a streak at all.

I think it's a sponge from Avon's Designer Loufa line that has calcified from prolonged exposure to old socks at the back of your closet....

it looks like quarz and mercury salts to me..

looks like quartz to me.

Doesn't look like quartz to me, texture isn't right.

 

Could be completely wrong though

Could it be amethyst? Small crytalling forms of it?

it could be anything, but we are trying to narrow it all down.

And just to clarify something if it is not clear already; the mineral DID NOT FORM in my closet, it was lying around in a box when I was going through some of my old stuff.
