Smiley face on Mars

Featured Replies

An image taken by the Mars Express spacecraft has photographed a crater which looks like it has a smiling face inside it.

The 230km (or 143 mile) wide crater was first observed by NASA's Viking Orbiter 1 mission.

Here you have it folks. Proof that life existed on mars in the past. who else could they have dug the "craters" into the shape of a smilely face. I'm of the opinion that the aliens wanted us to to be unafraid of our Martian neighbors... hence the unfrightening happy face.

For further proof, you gotta zoom out a little on the crater.

Not only that, but the whole planet is a sphere! Obviously it took intelligent life to form it into such a regular shape. The chances of a planet being spherical by chance are 1:456,753,235,235,321!!!!!!! ---Answersingenesis.com

He's smiling because he hit a hole in one.

Any ideas what this thing is?

Yeah, well, I use the Hubble face of Mars as a scowl like a Samurai warrior, fitting for the occassional encounters which require an honoring of our closest approach in 30,000 years.

This proves that the Martians are real, and they come from California.

To be fair, that bares a frightening resemblance to a face. Maybe it's the second coming of baby Jesus. (In crater-form).

Either way, thanks for sharing this gem of a find.
