How the matrix theory (science) agrees with reincarnation theory (religion)

Featured Replies

Reincarnation believes that everything reincarnates, i.e people die and are reborn.

According to science, everytime a universe collapses, after trillions of years (the big shrink) it expands again (the big raise)

Well, universes are made up of people, places, etc.

So if a universe 'reincarnates', expands and dies and then expands again, then obviously, so do the people who make up that universe.

In other words, people do reincarnate, according to science.

You're using a circular argument that begs the question of whether reincarnation exists. The argument assumes too much.

But according to science, reincarnation obviously happens.

If universes reincarnate, which they do, according to matrix theory, then so do all life in that universe.

So if a person dies in universe A, and if that person is to be considered, for the purposes of science, as 'a bunch of matter', then that matter reincarnates along with the rest of the universe after the big shrink and universe B sprouts forth.

Stop right here and support this sentence with actual evidence. This is the part you're assuming, the part that makes your reasoning circular.

He’s conflating conservation principles with reincarnation. It’s just sloppy silliness.

He's also anthropomorphizing the universe, and we all know how much she hates that!

Then again… we are the universe expressing itself as a human being for a little while. (~E.Tolle)

Quite a nice mockery... :D

For the record, Christianity doesn't mention reincarnation at all.

Yeah, Jesus didn’t die and come back. That has nothing whatsoever to do with their stories.

Anyway our sun is going to become a red giant billions of years from now, vaporizing the Earth, so there'd be nowhere for reincarnated people to reincarnate to..:)
