  1. Dude, I am drooling. Here in Rio, we know kebab as greek barbecue (when rolled up), there is an urban legend which says these 'greek barbecues' are made of cat meat... i love urban legends I guess there are no Hardee's here. Anyway, it looks so tasty (my eyes must be shining crazily now)... Food is a passion... I've just finished grabbing pizza.
  2. oh i didnt know what is kebab (now, i find it in Google Images). I eat fast food around four times a week (pizza, McDonalds, greeezy snacks) I drink MUCH water (around 8 glasses per day) I don't like much salt, I prefer a little little. I don't smoke, don't drink, don't use drugs. I don't practice exercises ( i hate exercises even knowing they are healthy ) I like lots of kinds of vegetable and fruits... I am addicted to chocolate (at least once a week) that's all don't matter, there is a long life after death so you don't need to matter, you'll die anyway.
  3. It's never too late to follow our dreams to be a rockstar! Joking! I don't think you're too old. Learning how to play an instrument must be a good source of entertainment.
  4. Thanks, the answers are great! I wonder if ChemSiddiqui could open the link.
  5. I have one 11 y.o. sister (mental age: 4!). In school, this semester, I am currently having Portuguese Language III, Literature III, Math III, Biology III, Geography III, Physics III, Organic Chemistry I, Inorganic Chemistry I and Physical-Chemistry I. The classes have diferent workloads. I haven't visitted any place abroad. Outside my state, I visited Espírito Santo and inside my state, some awesome cities such as Arraial do Cabo, Penedo, Búzios, Rio das Ostras etc. Most of the places I wrote have great beaches and an awesome climate, they are also far from the capital! It would be so good if I could show you how Rio de Janeiro is beautiful (apart from the violence that affects the capital of Rio).

  6. Thanks for everyone ! The cause was discovered without the need of a doctor. As my grandma says, "I don't go to doctors, they always find a new disease to me". The doctor would probably say I have a tuma. But however, my last physical-chem lab class didnt need any volatile thing (except concentrated HCl that we've handled in the fume hood), so I didn't feel headache. The glasses distubes some, so I'll provide another, but they aren't the reason of my extra-large headache! Thanks again for being with me through the misterious headachey journey! Probably, the cause of the headache are the fumes but the fumes disturbs because of migraine. I have to admit that the symptoms are very similar, there is no need to be a doctor to see it (and feel, it hurts!). ~~
  7. The link is working. Thanks for all of you. Google Docs is wonderful! Have you tried? I am sorry to consider atheism as a religious option. It was the only way to make a clear questionnaire. I wanted to keep it objective. Understand? Psycho, I know! I don't understand how it may be such a problem. I think it's going to explore the religion variety deeper, specially the consequences of it.
  8. Brazil is certainly a blessed place. No hurricanes, no tsunamis, no eathquakes, no scaring storms, no vulcanos. Sometimes, a tornardo (very rare) and some floods.

    Environment LOL I don't litter! Does it count?

    I've changed the glasses but anyway, i discovered the problem was in fumes (i'll post it after getting from school). My lab class on friday was OK. No headache and no fume. Coincidence?

  9. Welcome everyone! Jemo, don't worry, I am a high school student. If you like science and want to discuss how you handle with it, it is a good place. About the English grammar, I am Brazilian. My grammar isn't so perfect, too.
  10. I am making a survey about the religious development in current society. This survey will be made through a interpretation of a simple questionnaire which will deal with how religion is related to the social relations, the supernatural, the personal opinions and what are the consequences of the religious variety. The questions are in English Language and can be answered in the link below: Questionnaire - Data Survey - How is religious development in current society? I am opened to your suggestions, questions or any doubt that may come to mind. Mail: a.ladeira@ymail.com Thanks!
  11. everything you said made my mouth full of water haha

    i've heard about hurricaine 'gustav' near cuba and jamaica. are there hurricanes or other natural disasters in India?

  12. food there sounds tasty, the only words i could get were honey, pepperoni and chicken though.

    here we have 'feijoada' (boiled beans with pork), this dish usually comes with rice, cracklings, cabbage, orange and farofa, it is extremely good!

    we also have many kinds of fishes and sea food, as shrimp... and here we eat much Italian Food too.

    and the most common food here is rice and beans together. The food here is also very spice, and it is very good, barbecues are also very common.

    Pumpking with beef-jerky;

    Chayote with Shrimp;

    Potatoes Cake;

    Gnocchi;

    etc.

    I love food, I like Japanese, Italian, Brazilian and McDonnalds LOL

  13. I've never seen this cell, but I am very familiarized to the reduction potential. LOL!
  14. There is a problem when the link 'form' in the Bloglist is clicked. It doesn't open a form to make a blog.
  15. btw, i've seen your blog and the manipulation power scared me. :D

  16. I'll try meditation. I've never thought about that...

    Lab classes usually last 3hrs, but anyway, those are 3 stressful hours.

    I love to eat, but I'm not so 'foodaholic' for food as an 'alcoholic' is for alcohol.

    And you, are you foodaholic ? What are the typical dishes in India?

  17. I cant forget to color the liquid red. OMG, so many ideas Sometimes people make me afraid... You made my best moment today, at least until now Were you talking seriously?
  18. Sorry... I forgot your post, really sorry, I finally saw that. A snack and drinks, perhaps out of lab, but since I can't get out of lab, I would never eat inside it. It could be worse than headaches.
  19. So it can be my best moment of tomorrow So many good ideas. Keep on it and I'll go to a madhouse... or CIA will knock my door and arrest me. Since I'm in Brazil, the first possibility is more probable.
  20. LOL I've seen this movie, but I didn't remind this part (why is it so famous out there?). No, I don't wear glasses. I'll provide brand new goggles soon. I feel headaches since my 1st lab class in 2007. But I could hold them without bad consequences. Nowadays, my headache is a BIG headache, as jdurg said 'HORRIFICALLY painful and debillitating', it was very hard to read anything (and understand) because of the headache. It is very dangerous in the lab environment where I handle with concentrated acids, dangerous bases and volatile compounds. I checked it out and I've read interested things (the most important and similar to what is happening are highlighted below): " ... migraine can be disabling — with symptoms so severe, all you can think about is finding a dark, quiet place to lie down." "A migraine is also often accompanied by other signs and symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound. Migraine pain can be excruciating and may incapacitate you for hours or even days." " typical migraine attack produces some or all of these signs and symptoms: Moderate to severe pain, which may be confined to one side of the head or may affect both sides Head pain with a pulsating or throbbing quality Pain that worsens with physical activity Pain that interferes with your regular activities Nausea with or without vomiting Sensitivity to light and sound " "Sensory stimuli. Bright lights and sun glare can produce head pain. So can unusual smells — including pleasant scents, such as perfume and flowers, and unpleasant odors, such as paint thinner and secondhand smoke" Migraine is certainly something that must be checked since the symptoms are very similar... I guess I'll have to check all the possibilities before the verdict. The citations about migraine i've wrote above can be found here. Thanks!
  21. When I bought gloves for Physical-Chem Lab Class and put them on and started kidding with the gloves (like a sick person) with my friends. Everyone was looking at me thinking I was crazy... it made me feel happy... and idiot! Editting: Another highlighting moment was now, that I learned how to multiquote.
  22. CapitainPanic, I'll try everything you've said to me. hermanntrude, I've used chloroform once much time ago, so I don't think the fault is this compound's. YT2095, it's sad i can't test the light of the lab, like removing the lamp from there and putting it in my bedroom to check if I'll have headache all time. Tumas and Tunas... I didn't get it
  23. Certanly, English and Portuguese. :P

    I can also understand a little Spanish, I don't like Spanish though.

    I'm tired, this week, I had 2 exams and 1 lab class that lasted 3 hours.

    And I'll have another big lab class on friday.

    Lab classes are interesting but they bother me for 3 reasons: headache, group and reports (specially the last one).

  24. Ladeira
