  1. plez also specify whether carni/herbi/omni in the beginning
  2. we have vestigial vermiform appendix and canines as well.today we are omnivorous but what was our feeding habit in the beginning?carnivore or herbivore ? vermiform appendix shows we were once herbivore. i think human started to eat plants ie crops after learning to farm (they maybe eating fruits before) and before learning the farming, they were carnivore. ++ if human ancestors were either carnivorous or herbivorous and now we've evolved to become omnivorous then " can the present herbivorous/ carnivorous turn into omnivorous in future?" need help from specialists..
  3. even we are sometimes fooled, so crow -fool --not a big thing.
  4. it's not abt protecting the offspring. but a kind of showing dominance . comparing crow and kite(eagle) according to my observation:- kite is bigger has sharper beak and claws than crow inspite of all the physical advantages, still the crow can drive away the big fellow, here the "cleverness' is reflected.i dont know brain comparison. even the most intelligent human are fooled, crow is no exception.

    Mosquito

    all sites are helpful .thanks
  6. does "smart" refers to the one who can mimic? i think it refers to the cleverness. although parrots, macaws can do good mimics i think crow is smarter than them. i used to have a parrot but even after 3 months it didn't recognise me, when i go near it, it moves madly inside the cage as if i'm a new face for it. not only me,it shows the same reaction to everyone including even my mom who feeds it daily.so i set it free thinking that its of no use. but taking case of crow. while feeding my dogs, a crow came nearby wating the dogs feeding.i gave it a piece of meat and since that day whenever that crow sees me it comes near me. the wild crow recognised me in a day but the parrot didn't even in some months. I've also seen crow attacking big bird of preys.isn't this a sign of smartness "attacking somebody stonger than oneself without getting hurt and getting rid of them "? in the movies or stories, witch or wizard tames "crows" as they are smarter.

  11. we have another year "nepal sambat" and it is 1124 N.S . history: a simple farmer named Sankhadhar Sakhwa paid all the debt of the people .How ? A king of Malla dynasty of his time ,once sent many servants at night of special day to fetch the sand of the river. Sankhadhar as he was clever thought of the strange activity of the king and he bribed the servants and told them to put those sand in this backyard instead of taking them to the king. next day he woke up and went to backyard to see what had happened to those sand.To his surprise, all the sand had turned to gold. then instead of keeping them in this personal account he freed the people from debt and started a new "Nepal Sambat" . debate there is still a debate that whose calendar should we follow "BS or NS" . BS is from India and NS from nepal originally but government follows BS .Some old people specially the Newars from the Kathmandu Valley still follows the nepal sambat.
  12. we follow "bikram sambat" calen. and now it is 2061 B.S . history: there was once a king named Bikramaditya from India .He freed all the countrymen from debt by paying a huge amount of money personally.so in his honor the new calen was started from his name .'0' year was from his time.

  15. talking abt dreams i've a book where there's a story called "the recurring dream" (retold by Arlo T. Janssen) and it's a from England it's a supernatural story but the story is incomplete in the book .so does anybody know anything about this story?
  16. thanx for spelling here's my interesting dreams : i had seen dreams of strange place, temple and after some weeks during picnics i saw the same place. during my exams ,i usually see nightmares like not able to reach exam hall in time , not able to finish paper in time and lots more.
  17. according to sigmond f......, (i forgot the spelling), "what u cannot fulfil in the real life is being fulfilled in the dream" and i believe this. i've had some dreams which made me to believe his words.
  18. ok Mr. biologist "if u collect the birth datas of any other animal u'll find 100% birth in only 1 month (specific wks) .not like us having births in all the months. " could u plez explain me this how do u link above statement to human mating season .
  19. hey sayonara . all of the people here agree that we have "no mating season/period" but why have you been sticking to your point? i dont think we need to compare all those data and principles of biology.we are human and we are confused that whether we have or not mating season.(matter of shame) hey man a simple question --can u distinguish the lady in heat.certainly not.u can't go smelling in uncivilize manner. but all the other animals can distinguish that's why they have mating season data also shows that we have no mating season. if u collect the birth datas of any other animal u'll find 100% birth in only 1 month (specific wks) .not like us having births in all the months.
  20. i dont know if i'm true or not but i wrote in #33 coz that came in my mind : answer to yr first question. we are a step ahead and mating season can be one of the causes of our forwardness. no mating season means everyday can be mated and this increases the pop.how?(pop is key for forwardness.) a) matured female need not to wait for the paticular time to mate b) and the females do not become pregnant at the same time so the babies can get extra nursing from other females which means more chance of survival c) and we can choose the suitable season of delivery of baby by mating before 9 months of that suitable season. all above points help to increase the survival and it leads to the more population .and survival is the proof of us being ahead of any others.i think the above points answer all your question. biologically "more population means more succesful animal" and population is affected by mating ,we have unigue mating habits so we are gr8.
  21. i solved it in school within abt 40 mins while the teacher was giving lecture. i was in back bench so he didnt notice me solving the puzzle. i didnt find it too much difficult.
  22. i think due to "no special mating season" we have stepped a bit forward than other animals.
  23. hey sayonara, have u snuffle anyone. let me know yr experience
