Michel , Here is an image of Knowth , It has 18 smaller mounds surrounding it . I think that what you have circled is possibly an excavation of a smaller mound at Newgrange . The big mounds are huge , over 100m in diameter . If Stonehenge is an inner frame for a mound or building it has had stones and earth stripped away from it over the millenia . As for the YouTube machine , the past is full of weird and wonderful machines that have appeared and disappeared and long been forgotten . This is Newgrange . It is 5000 years old with some modifications to keep it alive as an entity . It is aligned with the midwinter sunrise . When the sun rises on midwinters day in the southeast it sends sunlight through the opening you can see at the lower part of the photo where the light shines down a passageway and onto a stone at the end of it . Is Stonehenge missing it's mound of muck ?

What does religious mean ? If you define your religion to be the worshipping of the Sun God , which brings light to the earth or/and the worshipping of the Moon God , which lights up the darkness of the night sky then stonehenge could be an aid to tell you when your God / Gods will be around at the right time / times and in the right place / places to be worshipped . Some people have a habit of declaring their conflict of interest , afterwards assuming the conflict of interest then disappears , because they have shown honesty in declaring their interest and they then are politically correct . There is also an issue of the validity of information from a particular time that may be long gone or not , as the case may be . When the information you are relying on was valid , is as important as who you are getting it from . This person knew how the journal operated at a particular time and again I will say that it could of course be a great journal , with great practices . I am sure the journal has changed since he left . How much ? What has changed ? Who are the new employees ? What is the new operating system on their computers ? The speed of light is a variable , under certain circumstances it is a constant . The constant in vacuum of 299 792 458 m/s is under certain circumstances . I'd love to trace the origin of light from a filament of a bulb and go through what material the light is travelling in and what it's speed is . It's great when you don't know how things work sometimes , it allows interesting questions to be asked . Like , Let's ask these physicists to give us an example of circumstances of how light could travel at 25 000 m/s , And , if they are not too busy , maybe another of 600 000 000 m/s . Is the speed of light in vacuum the fastest light can travel ?

I did watch the video and I thought it was a good viewpoint . I think it would be interesting to read the minutes ( exact wording ) of the report . But I also thought that the reporter , even though he did declare that he had a previous interest in a scientific journal / magazine which was mentioned , was relying in part on the fact that he thought his use of said journal had legitimacy as a reliable source because he knew of the qualifications of the people concerned . Relying on information because the source has a 'good' education can be a source of errors also . People have a tendency not to question a source just because they think that source knows better .
