      Yes. Religion is increasing. More probable, people have more time for religion due to a high living standard.

      I think your history teacher is an idiot. And needs to get out more and see poverty and suffering, of which there is an abundance of on this planet. But he unwittingly is admitting that religion is an emotional placebo for those who suffer. Wish I'd have been there to point that out to the Zealot. LOL
