Just on that point. I have relied on CNN for American (also some World) News for some time. Only recently have I realized how bad it has become...so LOL...I googled Fox as I had heard how bad they were, just to see the "other side". I trust neither as to their slant/opinions and headlines. Prior to that I trusted CNN and most news outlets over most politicians. Though I would always read with some skepticism, I considered the free press an important cornerstone of constitutional democracies. So I am more disappointed in CNN than Trump...I thought he would be a horrible President...so he has not disappointed me as much (I did think he would be better than this, as I thought he might have some respect for his position)

Why not let the content and tone of the ad speak for itself? Why does CNN feel the need to title this "Trump Shocks With Racist New Ad Days Before Midterms"? base on the undertones you and they believe are there? And why would they claim it as "shocking" if they feel it is based on his past? Do you feel this is credible News? Do you feel it is credible to portray it in this manner? If Obama mentioned a criminal in an Ad, and that criminal happened to be Hispanic, how would you feel if someone headlined "Obama Shocks With Racist New Ad Days Before Midterms"? I can't really disagree with any of that. Can you see the other side of it? Can you not see any substance in Trump's positions? (rhetoric and falsehoods aside?) People get so ticked off at Trump they seem to leave themselves exposed in their positions, probably left to look less balance, or less practical, than they otherwise would be.

It is not a matter of being numb to it. You are like chicken little running around yelling "the sky is falling". Except in this case the sky has already fallen and is clearly on the ground...I'm saying "what do we do now?"

I'm not claiming with certainty this is untrue, but I very much doubt it. It's like you believe only turnout, or a very small number of independents decide each election. How could anyone possibly know this, anyway? Ten oz pointed out how overall consistent voting was believed to be among demographics, not as individuals, and no one knows how anyone actually voted except themselves

Who is making that claim? His lack of integrity is huge. That was clear before he ran for President. It is a huge part of why he should not be...yet there he is. Why not address why he got there, rather than focusing on what everyone already knows? If anyone deserves to lose this upcoming election more than the extreme left Democrats (don't read that as all Democrats)...it is him...but his name isn't on the ballot.

I don't consider paying attention to Trump's "lie # 1,473,986" at the expense of focusing on the issues to be worthwhile. His contempt for everyone but himself and looseness with the facts and the truth is already well defined. Anything additional in that regard is in fact "small stuff", and focusing on it leads away from the bigger picture.

...which keeps them off balance...sweating the small stuff and pointing at it, while missing the big picture...enabling the very thing they despise.

I think he is closer to 50/50, but half the time he's telling the truth he thinks he's lying, and half the time it's not the truth he honestly thinks it is...so 25/25/25/25.
