Can someone help me step by step to solve this problem. My textbook doesn't help. I have tried to look for help on this topic, but I don't seems to comprehend the sample problem. The Ksp for AgCl is 1.6 X 10-10. What is the [Ag+] and [Cl-] in a saturated solution of AgCl? The solubility of CaF2 is 1.7 X 10-3 g/100g water at 25C. What Ksp at 25C for this compound? CaF2(s) <--> Ca+2(aq) + 2F-(aq)

My final chemistry exam is in about a week, and I still don't know EXACTLY how salt bridges of electrochemical cells work. None of my three textbooks explain it in-depth. I know the salt bridge's functions, but what exactly happens? For example, let's say we have a Cu anode and Ag cathode, in their respective half-cells. The electrolytes are Cu(NO3)2 and AgNO3, respectively, in the half cells. Let's say there's MgSO4 in the salt bridge. I understand that without the salt bridge, the half cells would become charged and the electrons wouldn't flow. That's all fine. What I don't get is which ions go from where to where to maintain the overall neutrality of the cell.

Fancy there has a beaker with water, a potato without skin is put at the central of the beaker. There is a cavity on the potato, about 7 cm. The cavity is contained with a sucrose solution. The water potential outside is higher than that of the sucrose solution. The cell membrane is a differentially permeable membrane. After ten minutes, if we cut a small cell from the cavity region and observe under microscope. What's the appearence of the cell? Flaccid, plasmolysis or turgid?

Its not really homework, i just wanna know that answer. I need to solve for X, given the following information. Its a square, and no angle information is given, apparently its a quadratic equation. If you work it out, a explanation would be great. Thanks.

Can some1 quickly plug the following data into a graphics calculator and plz tell me if u reckon the data graphs a parabola or a normal distribution curve? Production Statistics Year Ended: 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 Straits Share: 3795, 7059, 7671, 9708, 10578, 10317, 7353, 6642, 2110, 1858 becoz I thought it's a parabola at first but then you cannot get any negative values ever (all positive integers) in the data so I thought it might then be a normal distribution curve. which 1 is it or is there another possible type of curve that fits the graph betta?

I'm doing a science project and I just noticed that i overlooked a very big part of it. My project is on words affecting a person's sense of taste, and I've gotten research and replies from this forum already. I forgot to ask HOW. So, if anyone has any links to any site that tells you HOW, or anyone knows, I'd really appreciate it if you could share. Thank you.

Sorry if this has been asked before, we've got a lab tomorrow, we have to take some different hydrate compounds and heat them up with a bunsen burner. We are supposed to figure out a way to know if all the water has been driven off, I just can't think of anything...besides until the compounds start burning, and that isn't good Is there a trick with temperature? I'm very puzzled Thanks in advanced for some hints Edit: So I've thought up heating it slowly, and by looking around on the net, keep weighing it till it stays at that constant weight...I think that's it. Might be a better way though.

I am currently doing an essay on this topic. However I have came to a problem. I can't seem to find any info on which part of acetaminophen that reacts and performs the analgesic function. Is it possible to give me few hints on this? (It has a chemical formula of C8H9NO2) Also, a lot of sources indicate the lack of reaction of COX-1 and COX-2 to acetaminophen. And some suggest COX-3 is the key. Since it is first made known to public in 2002, not a lot of info can be found. Can anyone point me to the right direction for searching for its info?

By the way, i am in grade 12 in QLD, Australia so plz dont tell me something complex learnt from uni. thanx (oh...if u think there isn't or if u know for sure there isn't then can u plz tell me)
