i was wonderin if someone could get some information regarding a classaction suit involving women over 40 being unjustly fired/run off from their jobs by the columbia-sussex (corp? inc?) specifically from the river palms casino in laughlin,nv filed during the last week of sept of this year.publicised** not filed** printed in the las vegas revue journal during the last week of sept 2004 *other las vegas based papers may have run similar stories eh..my freind needs this info for her mom...so im going around seeing how many ppl can help... i know there probably arent many law school students or grads here...but *any* help is greatly appreciated thankx

she was diagnosed at age 9... her phsyciatrist only talked to her for about 5 hours per month, for the 6 month session....i dont know how u could actually learn about someone in that long... her mom just nodded her head to whatever her phsyciatrist said, and she was placed on pills. she began to feel apathetic to her surroundings while taking them. so when she moved out with her aunt, she stopped taking them. the last 6 years shes been leading a regular normal life without any episodes and without the help of any medication... is it possible that the diagnosis was wrong? or could it be possible she doesnt need her medicine, or something? im thinking we should see a phsyc on this to see if we can clear it up

Thanks Lucid, for that post. She actually hasn't shown any symptoms of schitz or bipolar...she actually diagnosed with adhd as well, but she has never acted like someone with these disorders. im hoping we can see a phsyciatrist about this, thanks

maybe its possible that some people beleive so much in something they are willing to put thier life on the line. Like those people who would lay down on the streets during rush hour to protest against the vietnam war and such. maybe theres another story behind these people. not nessicarily of brainwashing youth or non female contact. it could be that they so beleive in a cause that they know the only way to make a statement is by doing what they do. suicide bombers kill because when they do they make a bold statement...leave our homes or youll die... freedom fighters put thier lifes on the line to free themselves.... we have to look at the definition of terrosism and such, and find our own ways to describe them i consider terrorists and people who beleive in violence to have asmuch free will as we do. its like us soldiers in iraq. they were sent for a war, obviously some of them were going to die right? do we label them as brainwashed youth? sent at the command of a facist dictator? then why do we label ppl who are fighting for either thier right to live or what they beleive in that? its all just about point of view... and we, as humans, must recognize this. the enemy isnt a brainless zombie...he has a reason, a belief...which makes them all the more dangerous

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone here knows the symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia... Also, I was wondering if its possible to maintain a healthy relationship with someone who was diognosed with it. The persen was diagnosed with schitz, adhd, and bipolar diorder at 9. but she has been of medication for the last 6 years (shes now 19) id like to know what medications are out there...if they totally control symptoms...how often to do symptoms occur, and such. I actually need to find out to persuade my mom that *she* isnt a mental crackcase....and i have been researching. but i thought comming to a forum to find it out practically. thanks, rw
