Energy increases as the electromagnetic wavelength decreases and the frequency increases. The energy of a wave is directly proportional to its frequency. A wave will transmit more energy per second if it has a higher frequency. Shorter wavelengths are more energetic than longer wavelengths. Is this correct?

Naming Oxyacids (oxyacids produce the H+ cation) The first step in writing a name for a formula is to decide which type of compound it represents. Determine the anion (the name of the acid is based on the anion attached to the hydrogen) The acid name comes from the root name of the oxyanion name or the central element of the oxyanion. Oxyanions are named according to the following rules: If the group ends in the suffix -ate (with more oxygen atoms bonded), it changes to -ic If the group ends in the suffix -ite(with less less oxygen atoms bonded), it changes to -ious Is this step process correct?

Hi Folks! I'm a newbie in this forum, I hope not to violate any rule with this post, in the case I apologize in advance I've got a list of doubts about Immuno exam, I am a Med student 1. what is the role of lectins and agglutinines in innate immunity? 2. entrance of immature T in thymus happens via blood? 3. once T mature in the thymus, thymus then athrophyzes. Where does maturation for the next T happen? I haven't got this clear... is it like for the oocytes? they just mature all once and that's it? 4. innate immunity: what are preformed effectors? 4. Is this done correctly? mass = 27.8 g CaCI2 Number of CaCI2 in the compound = (unknown) Number of CI- ions in the compound = (unknown) Number of moles = mass/molar mass To find the number of moles of CaCI2 first you find the molar mass of the compound. 1 mole Ca x 40.08 g Ca/1 mole Ca = 40.08 g 1 mole CI x 30.45 g CI/1 mole CI = 30.45 g 1 mole CI x 30.45 g CI/1 mole CI = 30.45 g molar mass = (40.08 g + 35.45 g + 35.45 g) = 110.98 g/mol CaCI2 27.8 g CaCI2 x 1 mol CaCI2/110.98 g CaCI2 = 0.250 mol CaCI2 Now from equation No of Chloride ions are : 6.02 x 10^23 x 2 CI- ion = 1.204 x 10^23 CI- ions

  5. Can someone please help me with this? Im not sure what I’m doing wrong with the units. Convert the 100 yards to cm (there are 36 inches in a yard). Divide this by the length of the paperclip 1 yd = 36 in 1 in = 2.54 cm 100 yards = 9144 cm 100 yds * 36 in/1 yd * 2.54cm/1 in = 9144 cm 9144 / 3.2 = 2857.5 9144 cm/3.2 cm = 2,857.5 cm

  7. A mixture of lithium and sodium hydrides reacted with 193 cm3 of water. The weight of the solution obtained by 1 gram is less than the sum of the masses of all starting compounds. Mass fraction in the percentage of alkalis in the solution amounted to 8%. Calculate the mass of the hydrides. I do not need a ready-made solution task. Tell me the way solution task. Where to start solving the task?

    The de Broglie equation relates to the wave property of matter. λ = h/mv, where λ is wavelength, h is Planck's constant, m is the mass of a particle, moving at a velocity v. h = 6.626 x 10^-34 J•s. m = 96.0 mg v = 30.0 m/s Convert milligrams to kilograms m = 96.0 mg x 1g/1000 mg x 1kg/1000g = 9.60 x 10^-5 kg Calculate the wavelength λ = 6.626 x 10^-34/96.0 x 10^-5 x 30.0 = 2.30 x 10^-31 m Is this right?

I’m not sure if this is the correct method. a. With the help of the distillation method you can separate and identify the components of the menthol water solution. b. Distillation process is used to separate mixtures from a liquid by exploiting differences in boiling points. The substance with the lowest boiling point will boil first and the fumes will be collected by condensation. c. The advantage of the distillation method is that the heating temperature will decrease at lower pressures and reduce heat energy.

    I need help finishing this problem. I’m not sure if the steps are correct of what I have done so far. Percent by mass C = 40.60% Percent by mass H = 5.18% Percent by mass O = 54.22% Empirical formula = ? (unknown) Inverse molar mass C = 1 mol/12.01 g Inverse molar mass H = 1 mol/1.008 g Inverse molar mass O = 1 mol/16.00 g Convert the masses to moles. C = 40.60 g/12.01 g/mol = 3.380 mol H = 5.18 g/1.008 g/mol = 5.138 mol O = 54.22 g/16.00 g/mol = 3.388 mol Divide by the lowest, seeking the smallest whole-number ratio

I am going through this section of Einstein's Popular Exposition of Special Relativity https://www.bartleby.com/173/10.html#txt1 "In the first place we require to determine the points Aand B of the embankment which are just being passed by the two points A'and B' at a particular time t—judged from the embankment. These points A and B of the embankment can be determined by applying the definition of time given in Section VIII. The distance between these points A and B is then measured by repeated application of the measuring-rod along the embankment" and have two questions I seem to need help with 1) What might be a rigorous set up of a…

I am doing a project in science, and I need a device that is able to kill a static charge. I used to have it so the charge would run outside and run into the ground through a copper rod, but my science teacher said that I need to find a way so that I don't need to run it outside. The reason I can't find it myself is that whenever I search up "Device that kills static charges" on bing or google, all I get is websites saying if you can get killed by static discharge or not. Thanks!
