People, now i'm doing research project on aluminium..so i need do the electrolysis to coating my sample (aluminum)..the electrolysis is using copper(II) sulphate solution, copper pipe (anode) and my sample aluminium (cathode).so now,i want to know how to know and calculate the thickness of copper deposited on my sample..if say..i use the 0.6A DC electrical current in 2 hours..so how to calculate the thickness..or use the faraday's formula... (can someone explain,because i totally confuse and blur)thank you

    I'm stuck on a homework question: Show how the following solution set: [x1,x2,x3,x4,x5,x6,x7,x8]^T =[1,-1,0,0,0,0,0,0]^T, [0,-1,1,0,0,0,0,0]^T,[0,0,0,1,-1,0,0,0]^T,[0,0,0,-1,0,1,0,0]^T,[0,0,0,0,-1,0,1,0]^T,[0,0,0,0,0,-1,0,1] is obtained from the two linear equations x1+x2+x3-x4-x5-x6-x7-x8=0 and x4+x5+x6+x7+x8=0. The two equations can be put into a matrix A= [1,1,1,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1,]; [0,0,0,1,1,1,1,1]. Then row 2 is added to row 1 and the following solution is obtained (where v1, v2, .. v6 are arbitrary values) x1=-v1-v2; x2= v1, x3=v2, x4= -v3 -v4 -v5 -v6; x5=v3; x6=v4; x7=v5; x8=v6.     Honestly speaking, what can we personally do to help ensure water substainability, apart from the usual wasting less water and not polluting water bodies by dumping litter into them? As much as this is an assignment given, I too have interest in discussing on this topic. Seems interesting enough. I believe we can do a lot more to ensure water sustainability. Thoughts?

  6. the question goes 3^(x+1)=6 i tried it like this 3^(x+1)=3^x.3^1 3^x=6/3 3^x=2 then im stuck... anyone can teach me? not asking for answer only..but with tutorial..and how do people do superscript and subscript in the forum?...     Although not strictly homework, the question I think is basic enough for this sub-forum if thats ok thanks, despite my complete ignorance of subject. Set up. A sealed/insulated volume of 25 cubic litres of air, at 1 atmosphere pressure, preheated to a temperature of roughly 2300C (two thousand three hundred). Heres the question please.     ok, it's said The Quadratic Equation f(x) = 3x^2 - 6x + 11 can be expressed in the form f(x) = 3(x - h)^2 + k.     Is an intercept where the graph meets or crosses the axis? For example, in the function, f(x)=x^2(x-4), is the point (0,0) an x-intercept?     For my final trigonometry project I have to build a car out a vegetables. I want it to look like Cinderella's carriage. I know how I want to build the body, but with the wheels, I'm having a problem. I want to use radishes as wheels, but that can change if it has to. the radishes will not stay on the toothpicks. (I have to use all natural materials that aren't processed. Yes, I know that toothpicks technically are, but I'm only going with what my teacher has said.) Carrots will even slide off. Help?!

  16. Let f(x - 2) = x^2 + 2 Find f(3) Do I just sub 3 for x and get f(1) = 11? or do I do it this way: x - 2 = 3 x = 5 , therefore f(5) = (5)^2 + 2 = 27? or just let x = 5, then f(5 - 2) = f(3) = 5^2 + 2 = 27?

    a ball is struck while traveling 50mph. It's launch angle is 30 deg. Using constant for g= 32ft/s/s calculate the distance the ball traveled. I have the answer. It's 316 ft, according to my professor. What I don't understand is this: When converting 50mph to ft/s you multiply by 1.467. Then in the equation you square that number and divide by g (32). BUT he squared 1.467 FIRST, then multiplied by 50. which gives a different answer than if you convert to ft/s first and THEN square.
