Does ethnic bias ever influence science? How do we establish ethnic bias in science? Finding cases of academic fraud and correlating them to ethnicity would be one way. If so wouldn't it make sense to merge the two threads and consider ethnic (or whatever variable you want to explore) privilege in academia? I was informed by a mod that a thread on "White privilege" would be OK after criticising Jews. Kind of odd I know. Then I thought, if criticising Whites is OK, why not Jews? Kind of back to square one. And when looking for data on White privilege, I found massive Jewish privilege. Spooky stuff. Jews were learning Torah (Bible), while typical Europeans were complete analphabetics thousand(s) years ago.. There was no even local European languages established at that time. They have in habit to learn, seeking for knowledge, since their young age. Is there any indication of nepotism in college admissions? No. Rather money.. Smart people invest money, and as a result earn even more money, gather money, not spend on stupidities, for centuries of their family.. Children, smart children, double it. Generation by generation. Add to it, having to pay for university, tremendous amount of money in US and UK learning system, and you have privileged group of rich people who pay for studies of their children, and very little quantity of poor people who receive it for free, but must be astonishing/desperate clever to get scholarship. So poor people were (and still are) typically excluded from knowledge, and don't participate in the new discoveries. Poor people try to survive a day, or week, or month, to the next payday.. Thank you for posting a relevant hypothesis. You think Jewish money is the main factor? Interesting, I'll look into it. You also think Jews are more literate due to their history. Entirely possible. Do you view this as cultural, genetic or both? And you'll find modern Marxist anthropology is nothing but a series of frauds. It's just a strange way of doing science, don't you think? You have a hypothesis that ethnicity affects university enrolment, but then immediately seek to restrict the dependent variable. Aren't you also interested how it varies over all ethnicities and explore what other variables might be having an effect? A lot of the things we are discussing in one thread will likely appear in the other thread - why not keep them in one place - at the very least it will mean i don't have to post everything i write twice to satisfy your idea of equality between the two.
