He was bisexual, not homosexual. But why are you asking about Freddy Mercury, specifically? What makes him different from all the other bisexual men?

Assuming you are simply asking if there is a genetic component to homosexuality, then the answer seems to likely be yes.

I am pretty sure the same question could be asked about Freddie Mercury - but it would be similarly worthless as hinted at above. If we are going to have a debate on such a "blue touch paper" subject could we at least start with a sensible question, which is correct in its details, and does not involve potentially divisive celebrity figures past or present.

I conjecture he had a penis, and a desire to use that penis, both of which are caused by genetics.
