Well I am an optimist and I will show you it's the same thing.

You say the glass is half empty, I say it is half full.

1/2 empty = 1/2 full

Multiply through by 2

empty = full

or 6 empty glasses = 6 full glasses

and I have therefore have drunk only 6 empty glasses.

 

(Perhaps this really belongs in the lounge)
