Let's say AI becomes so advanced that they are human-like. Will it ever happen?

I've been hoping all the old misogynists would die off before the technology reached the Stepford Wives point, because those guys would be all over that.

I heard a story about a guy falling in love with a chat bot.

It's the classic story, Boy finds Girl, Boy loses Girl, Boy builds Girl.

The film 'Her' addresses some of this (not that I have actually seen the film)

No.........Not a real romantic relationship. An A.I, no matter how similar to the reactions a human would have, will never have the same chemical connection a man and a woman or man and man or woman and woman can have. It's simply not possible. As long as it's artificial it can't go both ways.

However, a man or woman can fall in love with A.I, just how it can fall in love with a car or some other creepy fetish like taxidermy baboons or some shit xD
