This is not a question of religious beliefs but a question of scientific facts, concerning the 2 seas that meet, but 1 doesn't mix w/the other.

Can someone from over 1400yrs ago, who could neither read nor write, possibly have such detailed knowledge of, speak on w/accurate descriptions, things that has only been stumbled upon, discovered, explained, and seen in our century. W/the aid of very high tech equipment. Like the Hubble, the Sonogram, Deep sea diving equipment, etc. Using my own reasoning and logic and plain commonsense, puts the question out there. That "Qur'an," mentions in great detail, things no human could have possibly known over 1400yrs ago.

1/ the fact that there are these 2 large bodies of water (Mediterranean =Atlantic), meet but don't mix even a little, not deep down at the oceans floor, nor on the surface of the 2 waters, in which there is a clear, distinct separation between the 2, and not even on the shore, the 2 waters come up on the sand, literally hit ea. other, as if hitting a wall, and go back out to sea,

2/ the fact that the sun, moon, stars are in orbit,

3/ the fact that the mountains are like pegs, deep in the earth,

4/ the stages of the embryo, from sperm to the delivery of a baby,

5/ the fact that the sea is darkness upon darkness upon darkness, till where you can not see your own hand in front of your face,

6/ the fact that no 2 finger prints are alike, even our own 2 hands side by side are not the same,

7/ the fact that space is ever expanding,

I could go on, but I think I made my point. So, how could anyone, 1400yrs ago know these detailed things? And from my understanding of what a miracle is, it is a thing given to those who are sent from The Ever Living One Who Dies Not, that none other than they can accomplish. I.e. "Phenomenal" "Amazing" and most of all, "can not be explained." I'm just saying.

If you make up enough stuff and express it ambiguously enough then eventually some of it might look like it's right- especially to those who really want to believe it. They just ignore (or lie about) the stuff that's plainly wrong.

If one considers the idea objectively, it falls to pieces as soon as you look at it.

For example you show a picture of " the fact that there are these 2 large bodies of water (Mediterranean =Atlantic), meet but don't mix even a little,"

But it is obvious that they do mix.

That is why there is a brown area between the black stuff on the right and the white stuff on the left.

So the answer to the question "how could anyone, 1400 yrs ago know these detailed things? " is that anyone can "know" stuff that's simply not true.

The real question is why do you believe the assertion, even though the picture you have posted shows that it is false?

Do you realise that you have been mislead or brainwashed?

1/ the fact that there are these 2 large bodies of water (Mediterranean =Atlantic), meet but don't mix even a little

This very obviously cannot be true.

Within the [Mediterranean] sea, the incoming Atlantic water is continuously modified by interactions with the atmosphere and mixing with older surface waters and with the waters underneath.

http://www.grida.no/graphicslib/detail/mediterranean-sea-water-masses-vertical-distribution_d84b

An upper layer of Atlantic water flows eastward into the sea over a lower layer of saltier and heavier Mediterranean water flowing westward into the ocean

Some of the other points are also untrue (or so ambiguous as to be meaningless).

Some of the other points are true but trivial to observe.

Moderator Note

You aren't asking scientific questions here but making assertions, with a good dose of argument from incredulity, in order to proselytize.

That's not going to work. This wouldn't work even if you had posted this in the religion section. The rules forbid preaching and soapboxing. (If you post in the religion section, note that it has additional rules as well)
