Hypocrisy and Inconsistency: Republicans in the US

Featured Replies

Sad, but true. Join the party? Sorry... I value my integrity and reason too much for that.

Of course it hurts, you're being f*#cked by an elephant...

They forgot some of my favorites:

"If you don't think America should be the world's police but support having a military budget greater than the next 14 highest countries, join the party!"

"If you're smart enough to be wealthy but don't want to support public education so others can become smart enough to be wealthy, join the party!"

If you claim to be against deficits, but then propose consistent budgets that do nothing except make them worse... join the party.

If you assert that you want to protect Medicare while taking steps to make it completely useless... join the party.

If you support endless tax cuts, but then attack Obama when he provides them to more than 95% of the population... join the party.

If you think that spending trillions bombing and rebuilding other countries is a-okay but investing in infrastructure at home is wasteful brazen liberal spending... join the party.

Doublespeak. You were probably right, Mr. Orwell.
