Jobz in the field of physics

Featured Replies

Are there any jobs (that have a good pay) in the field of physics?

I plan on getting a double PhD in theoretical physics and computer or electrical engineering. Would these degrees be profitable?

Are you really looking for high pay? If so, why not just become a doctor? I'm gonna say what just about everyone says to me when I ask this kind of question, which is to just do what you love.

Mo money, Mo problems

So you can ride in bentley's and roll on dubs?..........ah me too:D

Best bet is private research. Expect to make about $75000/yr at most.

What do they make after the government froze all their assets for being terrorists?

Well; it'll be hard at first. Just work hard. Gain recognition in the field of Physics, ie. give presentations, talks, etc.

Then, people will start paying you to attend their conferences or give presentations, whether they be Physics or Non-physics.

Take a look in the back of some science mags, alot of them have a jobs section. This will give you an idea of what you will be paid, and what areas actually have regular vacancies.

What exactly is private research?

$ sounds tempting. But will it be profitable in the future (say 10, 13 + years)?
