I mean, what use is it for a member, other than giving him more influence over other points?

A couple of things really:

Eventually we may employ a filter that people can activate to filter out posts from "bad" posters if they so choose. You have more influence over other posters and whether or not they will be seen (when the filter is on). Also access to things like the arcade, shop, and things of that nature. Special privilidges and other things will also come with reputation points.

Its ok. Thanx! the ony one negative that i have is the one on 'Do strings have mass'. I didn't know the started was aling about the string theory :embarass::)

open yer eyes and take a peek at the top bar on your page and look for "Arcade" 8))

how? easy I guess, perhaps your post aren`t up to snuff or maybe you`ve upset someone?

actualy, it`s good question, how can you lose 23 points in one shot???

other than it being a rather perculiar amount to lose, is it even selectable?

23 seems a bit high seeing as reputations seem to change based on a mere few posts.

maybe someone with a GIGANTIC influence could have done this. Or, maybe people ganging up against u.

How can you tell who gave you the review, and how can you tell for which post it is.

And what about people that give you bad ones because they don't agree with you?

When me or blike give rep points, it counts for 5.

actually, i have a few questions

how can we find out how many points we have?

how can we find out where we lost/gained points?

i guess that's it...

Well, check in ur user CP. At the bottom, there will be a section saying 'latest reputation received'. Check there. A red means - points. A green means + points. In the title area, it will tell u 'x points total' . that is the total number of points u have got!

Mods can tell because we are leet.

So when you give me negative reputation for posting "derogatory remarks" in the Gay Marriage Ban in Constitution thread, which is (a) not true, and (b) fkin hilarious considering your stance, I tend to notice.

it says nothing... there isn't a "latest reputation recieved" to click

does that mean i have no reputation points?

except when i click the add reputation points button on my post it says i have 10 points, is that default?
