Something neat for music lovers

Featured Replies

I did a search and couldn't find anything on it here, so go visit http://www.pandora.com. Just enter your favorite music artist and it will play related music that you may never have heard if not for Pandora.

Seems like a useful site, thanks.

When I searched for Metallica it said that no results could be found, it then linked to Metallica Radio station, me thinks that that IS a result... meh, seems to work great.

Actually it's now playing a song I've never heard of; Hurricane 2000 by Scorpions/Berliner Philharmoniker... I like this song!

And I just thought, it's playing all of this music without any loading/buffering time, just plays it all instantly, impressive.

screw windows media player, lol. I'll be running this for a while. I've got my hard rock playlist and my punk playlist :)

also, it always plays a song form the selected artist before new songs, so dont get discouraged.

LivePlasma.com does something similar. Making some type of graphic showing what artists are similar to one that you type in, it's pretty cool too.

Yes, Pandora is great! I have recommended it to friends too.

I've got a question. A while ago there was no light and my internet connection went down too but the player kept on playing the music. How does it work?

This is amazing; it actually makes good suggestions. I'm going to name my kid after you, xeluc.

I've tried "Brahms"... got "Brahman". What a blasphemy !!!

This is just speculation, but if everything but your computer was off, I'd say that the music kept playing because it downloads the song onto your computer during playing.

Such a good site but it asks you to subscribe after a few songs aargh

Is there anyway around this?

the subscription is free. There is no way around it, but it's not a big deal either.
