The mods would be more responsive if others had not initiated the rudeness - and quite a lot of it - in earlier threads. We’re more lenient when the comments (which are fairly mild, really) are going both ways. The question here is who will de-escalate and focus on the subject matter. From the looks of it so far, nobody is stepping up.

I do have a query, for my own mental health I would like to be "banned" in the sense that I am blocked from this forum. However I would want to make a few statements:

1. Using terms like groping/fondoling when describing a health professional is EXTREMELY QUESTIONABLE

2. Down Votes should be reviewed by a moderator before being given

3. People who make snarky comments and get responded as such should not victimize

4. Before jumping on someone's case, ask for clarification

5. Using crude terms like "a teenage boy trying to get laid" is some of the worst ways to assist in communication

6. Discussions should be based off of facts and not people factionizing themselves and picking a side simply because they have known

7. I would like to thank @TheVat for some very interesting conversations along with @CharonY for asking for clarification before attacking someone

What I've seen has looked two sided, with several members kind of piling on, so I would also request everyone involved just get back to topic in those threads.

This is an example of something to just let go, and figure it's a misunderstanding. @exchemist was describing a potential state of mind of some patients who have anxiety about physical contact in a examination; he was not expressing it that way to be vulgar or denigrate health professionals.

For what it's worth, regardless of someone (whoever it is) being out of line, if a lot of people start having a go at them, it becomes bullying and that is not the person I am.
