keyboard lock

Featured Replies

On occasion my keyboard locks up. IBM thinkpad, Windows 7. It occurs when I am typing a message in a forum like now. Fortunately my mouse still works, so I can save the (incomplete) message and then restart the computer, freeing the keyboard. Any ideas why it is happening and is there a simpler way to free the keyboard?

Have you tried using a different keyboard or checking for malware running on startup/delayed start?

Does it also happen on 'busy' sites such a Ebay, the websites of newspapers CNN etc?

I think it is much more likely to be the interaction between your browser and such sites where there are umpteen people tracking you these days to try to advertise to you.

Have you got anything to do with 'babylon' or 'protection' in your program list.

These are spyware things that are not prevented by antivirus.
