If time travel were possible, there is no reason you couldn't go back in time and change something. For example, I am standing in front of a newly painted white house. I change the arrow of time and go back one month to see a painter just getting ready to paint that very house white.
The paint was already purchased by the owner of the home who is away on a one month vacation. The painter doesn't know the color until he opens the cans and before he does, I switch the colors from white to red. I go back to my time and see a red house now instead of white.

If you were President, would you allow Iran to get nukes?
Never.... This is a country that hates the jews so much they broadcast that hate on a daily basis. They also call for its removal from the face of the earth at all costs. That alone would be reason enough.
These people would use a nuke because their Allah says its ok to kill innocent people for the preservation of the Islamic way of life. IMO this country is pure evil and should be dealt with soon. You cannot allow Mullahs to be in control of nuclear weapons.
What I find surprising is that civilized countries will not band together to fight a common foe, and Iran is a common foe. Places like Russia and China are often, if not always, found helping terrorist countries rather than fight them. I find the leaders of these countrys cowardly and disgusting.

I would go back in time just to prove the paradox doesn't exist.

I sneakily suspect Bettina might disagree. Want to join in here, Bee?
No. I'm not an Indigo child. I just heard from another source that they tend to be very quiet and stay to themselves.

I lie across my soft chair sideways. My feet hang over one armrest while my back rests arched over on the other. My head hangs upside down and my arms are outstretched over my head. I let the blood pool and stay that way for about 15 minutes. Its the ultimate spine stretch for me.
When I get up, I find it hard to breathe for a few seconds, but I'm relaxed for awhile after that.

Some of you "naive" people do more harm than good when trying to 'help'.
Oh no? And what if it is bullshit? Should I not point it out?
Not in that manner. If you are going to disagree then do so. Don't come here and call someone else's advice bull**** and give none of your own. That star under your name doesn't give you that right.

Haha....I never bothered.

I was young once too, but I was never quite so naive.
Some of us "naive" people try to help others the best we can because we can relate from actual experiences. It does no good to come here and call our advice bull****.

I have come to realize that too. How old are you Bettina?
Its in my profile... Just click on my photo.

On Wednesday of this week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be
01:02:03 04/05/06.
That won't ever happen again in our lifetime.

That is true too. I will bear this in mind next time.
I'm popular and have many friends, but there are five of us who are close. Four girls and one boy who pal around all the time. Its been that way for three years now but we've known each other for years. We go places in a group for safety reasons as well.
If that boy should come onto me and I reject him. I would still want him as a friend if he still wanted to be friends. I would not want to lose him.
The point here, is that she wasn't as good a friend as you thought. Friends don't abandon each other no matter what and your not at fault here.

I think the thing I find most disturbing, is all the bullshit people have been saying in this thread....
That was uncalled for.... At least to me.
Edit... I don't know how old you are since your profile is a secret, but if your an adult, you may not know the minds of the young people.

Hi folks' date='
Here's an elementary question my wife and I were wondering.
From something I read recently, the sky looks blue and the sun appears yellow, because the atmosphere filters the blue from the white light from the sun and bounces it around.
Now if that is fact, why do most stars at night appear white instead of yellow? Why does the atmosphere not filter out the blue from that smaller spectrum?
Waiting for the easy answer I assume is out there.

The stars are really different colors. They appear white to us because of the nature of the human eye. We can't detect color in objects that are too dim so our eye will perceive them as white.
If you look at stars through a telescope, they will have color because of the increased brightness that the lens gives us..

Haha...it's funny how this is slowly becoming a popular thread.
In any case' date=' I still haven't received a reply from her...but knowing her, she'll probably talk with me on MSN, and not right me an email in reply. I haven't been on MSN for the past couple of days because of my mid-term exams...so I'll see what happens later on today. She's always on on Monday nights....[/quote']
I'm glad you think its funny. I didn't think it was when I made my initial reply so now I'm wondering how much of a problem it really was. If I lost my best friend, I would be devastated.

Haha' date=' I'm a male lol...
In any case, I told her exactly what I told you guys. I took a while to write exactly what I wanted to say, and sent it to her as an email...
Let's see what she has to say.
I hope this works....
I so hope I am friends with her again...[/quote']
I hope so too... If she says no, give me her email address.

Indigo children don't say much.

I know exactly what the problem is. To her, its no longer a friendship because she feels you were a friend for the sole purpose of building a relationship. Your entire friendship with her was based on someday you two being together in your own mind and when you told her, you let her down big time because she saw the friendship as one big lie. it wasn't something a friend would do. It was not part of the friendship.
The other problem is that you've made it uncomfortable for her. She can't say things like "Geez, I really like that boy over there" because you are with her. This is a weight she probably doesn't want to deal with. How can she put her hand on your shoulder or touch you as a friend or stand close to you without wondering if you will take it as a signal instead of friendship.
What you have to do is convince her that you have accepted her decision and intend to check out other girls for a relationship. You have to somehow prove to her that your feelings for her in "that" way will remain supressed but you can't accept not being friends. Thats the hard part because she knows those feelings are there. You've put her in a very tough spot.
My advice? Tell her what you told us in your opening post. In fact, (and this is where I disagree with the rest) I would show her these posts and let her make up her mind. You haven't come here for advice on how to win her love, you came here to try to save a friendship.
From what I read in your first post, I think you are honest, sincere, and very much worth keeping as a friend. I would never let you go if I was her. Friends like you are loyal and true.
Good luck cutie.

I use my real name and photo which is me two years ago, so if you guessed what kind of person I am by the photo you would have guessed right. I sing in church with the choir and solo on religious holidays. I also work at church functions and the local parks. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or any other bad things.
What I could never understand is why so many people here hide there identity. Why? It doesn't make any sense.
Since I'm a girl, I'm not foolish enough to give my last name or town I live in, but some here are very secretive.

I can't believe any of you had the balls to mention your own juggling after watching that. That was truly phenomenal. Now I understand the term "poetry in motion".
"Poetry in motion". I like that It explains Bliss's performance perfectly. I'm going to watch it again now for the 20th time.... The fact that he did it in front of a live audience and never dropped a ball is exceptional.

Try five. This one gets really good towards the end as well.
I saw this video before. Although he is a pro juggler without question, he's just a copycat using the same soundtrack as Bliss's... A big turnoff for me.
Next, and most important, he doesn't flow to the music. I see a man juggling, and hear music playing, but they don't merge. It isn't the amount of balls he uses, its the charisma needed with it. Bliss had it.

Hello again.
Just a note that the puppet Ahmadinejad just pledged 50 million dollars to Hamas which also does not recognize Israels right to exist.
So, if you are worried, then I am very worried.
