  1. Wouldn't be more accurate to say we couldn't use the speed of light as a measurement tool? Merged post follows: Consecutive posts merged We would see everything as it is today, the speed of light could no longer be used to see into the past so the big bang would be long gone in deep time.
  2. I think it's with in our technology to build a space ship that could cruise around the solar system. Visiting the various planets on missions that would last several years. It might not be as glamorous as traveling the galaxy but it is much more practical and doable. A reusable space craft that travels the solar system should be on the agenda of our space programs.
  3. I figured this was on of those once in a life time random effects that just happened.
  4. The thin bottom is the beginning not the end, this is a weird thing for sure. I am willing to believe zolar for now, he seems to have the inside line on this. The dark circle is not the moon it's the inner part of the spiral after the fuel ran out of the rocket. i can believe this was a one time event but if it happens again exactly this way then it's either staged or something really odd that needs to be looked into.
  5. In the center of the spiral? It's the rocket. at least that's what they say Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedIf you look in the 4th pic there is a black zone at the center with no bright spot.
  6. No that is the rocket trail, no moon, the moon is not in that pic at all. The spiral is supposed to be part of the rocket exhaust.
  7. It's difficult to realy have one favorite but there is my list of fiction books I think are well worth reading. Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein Hieros Journey by Sterling E. 8. So no way to know if they will really be stable or just more radioactive elements?
  9. Yeah but no where near as spectacular as the one over Norway! The one over Norway really looked weird this one just looks like a failed missile. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts merged If it was heads must be rolling somewhere for the failures!
  10. I actually asked a medical doctor about this one and the answer is no. blood doesn't contain the nutrients we need to survive in the quantities it takes to keep us alive, it messes up our digestive systems (results in the most horrific smelling excrement and gas you can imagine) Blood is not a food capable of sustaining us long term.
  11. I have several pounds of mercury, copper, bismuth, aluminum, a little bit of magnesium, titanium, lead, some tungsten that is probably an alloy, and silver. (some gold too if you count jewelry.)
  12. What I want to know is this, are these supposed super heavy elements thought to be really stable like bismuth or just semi stable like uranium? (yeah i know probably full of grammar errors....)
  13. Damn, you mean it wasn't a plausible supernatural paranormal hyper-technological alien super intelligence UFO sighting of a FTL worm hole appearing in the atmosphere over Norway thingy? ..... shiiiiittt....
  14. Neither did you jack ass, you make claims with no evidence, you did not provide one iota of real evidence, If you had I would have countered with evidence. Toasty did you favor by actually looking up what you should have done to begin with so you wouldn't' have asked such a ridiculous question!

  15. Zolar if you realy feel like I was trolling you should report me, I still say you are dead wrong!

  16. You got me zolar, I'm a troll, I live to obfuscate your posts. Report me. Thank you toasty, 2.4 million years ago our jaws changed, I appreciate your efforts to show this. I still don't see the relevance of roman era jaw bones and tool use for processed foods since humans have clearly been processing their foods for 100,000's of years.
  17. I think one of the few true perversions is wanting to be a politician, I don't really trust the motives of either side but the Dem's seem less likely to round up people like me into camps and roast us than the Rep's but neither side is really the final truth. I never trust either side completely, anyone who is totally republican or totally democrat is a Christmas turkey.
  18. Yes mooeypoo, (looks down sheepishly) you make a bubble then put six other bubbles around it and the center bubble becomes more or less cubic. It is a staged thing and i was being a smart ass, sorry The idea of a square crater is just so out there it's difficult to take it seriously but I guess if you had a crater then four other impacts around it in in the exact place and you could get a natural squarish crater
  19. I've seen cubic bubbles, why not square craters?
  20. Zolar, why do you assume a large carcass? Humans often prey on small animals. A human is quite capable of eating a small animal raw, even skinning it with your teeth. a rabbit is easy to skin and eat, not very tasty raw but edible. A cooking fire makes any meat easily torn from a carcass, throw a deer carcass on a fire and meat becomes easily torn from the carcass, your whole idea of human teeth and jaws being too weak to function with out modern food processing is just dead wrong. Small animals make a large portion of the diet of primitive humans now, why not then? I think it's more likely that fire allowed the human jaw to evolve into the form it is today by making food softer and easier to eat. Merged post follows: Consecutive posts merged No zolar, not if the human jaw isn't evolving over that time span, troll am i? Report me for trolling then, go for it.
  21. First i happen to be trained in statistical analysis, you are dead wrong, at best you source is cherry picking data, you need to provide the source for this outrageous claim, the human jaw bone has pretty much been the way it is for more than 100,000 years, 3,000 years isn't enough to say we had to have modern cutlery to live. 3,000 years ago humans already had plenty of tools to cut up grind and other wise process food. As we did 100,000 years ago, even before the modern jaw bone hominids had tools to cut up and grind their food. You are not making sense when you argue differently. Of course you're not, it disproves your idea completely. Again 3,000 years has seen no appreciable change i the human jaw bone. 3,000 years ago humans were identical to humans today, why do you keep bringing this up? Neanderthals evolved from a common ancestor with humans, both species had tools more than 150,000 years ago they also had jaw bones that were really not suited to ripping flesh from carcasses. Yes were are discussing the use of tools because you said we have to have them to eat. AGAIN, i say 3,000 years ago we were just as human as today, so what is your point?
  22. Yes I merely provided a link, I looked it up because I had no idea what it meant, but it doesn't look promising to me.
