  1. Actually, I meant to say that the bike does explode at first. These hoverbikes aren't air cushion vehicles their magnetically levitated, 2 feet above the ground maximum. His armor is an inch of steel (How heavy is steel by the way?). What if the explosion occurs from the bike's dashboard, right into his face?
  2. I need help writing part of a screenplay I'm working on, physics-wise. In ACT 1 the main character's father is killed during a hoverbike race. Here are the contributing factors, if any or all of them would contribute to his death: -He's travelling at about 350 km/h (219 mph). -He's 62 years old, weighs about 195 lbs, fairly muscular build for his age. -His racing suit consists of body armor an inch thick (on his chest and legs). -His bike explodes while he's still on it. How would these factors kill him?
  3. Soundfonts are for more than full music tracks?
  4. Thanks, but I have to pay for them. >
  5. I just read this: http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn23397-ozone-kills-by-hampering-gas-exchange-in-lungs.html Seems legit to me.
  6. If you insist, but what's a good way to create the sound of a skull cracking or bludgeoning (like she did to that chicken)? Also, how can I make my own jungle bird chorus recording without flying to Brazil or Congo? I used the Song Remover on YouTube to get rid of the "copyrighted" track anyway.
  7. Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYiTmUFcVYg Obviously somebody is trying to extort money out of me.
  8. Then why didn't they take my video down? Does this mean I might win against this fraud?
  9. Someone is trying to get my newest YouTube video taken down for false copyright claims. I even made sure that the sound effects used in this video were legal to use for commercial purposes. More proof: http://www.freesound.org/people/Bidone/sounds/173145/ http://www.freesound.org/people/jobro/sounds/35686/ http://www.freesound.org/people/swim...sounds/165196/ http://www.freesound.org/people/XxBirdoxX/sounds/52293/ http://www.freesound.org/people/digi.../sounds/57608/ All of the above samples are perfectly legal for commercial use. Whoever is trying to get rid of my video should have know that, and so should YouTube.
  10. You and me both. And if triceratops did scavenge, what does that say about whatever animal replaced it in our time?
  11. Maybe not, but this article I found has me questioning whether or not we know everything about the triceratops' diet. http://listverse.com/2011/02/22/top-10-dinosaurs-that-arent-what-they-were/ "After examining the beak and jaws, paleontologists reached the conclusion that Triceratops may have been partially carnivorous, probably scavenging after T-Rex, or even scaring smaller predators away from their kills. Its strong jaws were able to crush bone and flesh as easily as they could grind plant material. The result would be an incredibly bizarre-looking, intimidating beast that behaved more like a giant wild boar or an entelodont (a carnivorous pig-like creature) than the placid vegetarian of classic imagery. We simply will never look at Triceratops the same way now."
  12. Was the triceratops actuall an omnivore instead of a herbivore, based on recent research?
  13. Sorry, forgot to mention that they're maglev hovercraft.
  14. Seriously? To me that's a terrible name. It's too hard to remember, and it sounds more like it would be used for the label of an atomic weapon.
  15. Since it's a matter of opinion then, which do you like better?: Red Saber? Red Sabertooth? Red Tiger?
  16. Tell that to the the writers of Ice Age. =P You sure Red Sabretooth would be a good name?
  17. I tried Red Smilodon but it just didn't sound right out loud.
  18. I was thinking of making the leader's bike based off a sabertooth tiger, but then naming it became a problem. I couldn't come up with one that sounded right. For the other two bikes I had Cyber Dactyl and Gold Rex. What about naming the lead bike Red Sabre?
  19. It's about my project G-Biking, an animated series about futuristic hovercraft racing. I was thinking of changing the motif of the Canadian team (Most recently their bikes have been based on a fox, a goose and a bear), because two members (including the leader) are human, but one is an alien reptile girl. Her bike was originally going to be bear-based, but then I started to feel it wouldn't be appropriate to give a reptillian character a mammalian bike. So I was searching for whatever reptiles were exclusive to Canada, or at least more common in Canada than any other country, and I came up really short in that effort. Then I learned that North America has the most fossils discovered out of all parts of the world, and what could be more north than Canada? So I was thinking of changing Team Canada to a prehistoric motif. I've already figured out that the girl's bike would be based on a dinosaur and one of the other bikes would be pterosaur based, but what about their leader's bike? What should his bike be based on if I keep the prehistoric motif?
  20. I just noticed that cats seem to have very close eyes to certain reptiles (mostly snakes and lizards). Were felines and reptiles much close biologically in the past?
  21. I've heard here and there that North America has the most dinosaur fossils. Does that sound believable?
  22. Are you referring to the recent story about how the brontosaurus didn't exist in real life?
