  1. Sure you can. Use the graphite rods from pencils. If you want to get a LOT of surface area (but it'll be fragile) make the grid out of .7 or .5 mm pencil "lead" for mechanical pencils. As for connecting them' date=' implement some creativity.

Thats a bad idea in this case. The 'lead' also contains lots of clay. If you really want to use graphite you can take apart lantern batteries and get the thick carbon rods out. I have had both types of rods react in electrolysis but I always use an electrolyte.

You could also try getting some cheap platinum wire from ebay and making a grid.

edit: this stuff looks nice to experiment with: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3179&item=7512009373&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

The seller obviously doesn't know what hes talking about but with that price you cant go wrong. Even if it is platinum plated it doesn't really matter.

  2. I also remember the cooties. The ONLY time I remember seeing anybody have any type of sexual experience before puberty was when I was in preschool and I asked a girl to show me her uh... lack of appendages. She showed me and it satisfied my curiosity. There was no sexuality involved. I Think you're kidding yourself.

  3. How mature does one have to be in order to eat/drink?

How mature does one have to be in order to sleep?

How mature does one have to be in order to get sexual satisfaction?

Humans can go without some of these longer than others' date=' but they are all needs, and it doesn't matter how old you are.[/quote']

Both sleep and eating are required to live. Sex is not a requirement for an individual but for society itself; which pedophiles don't contribute to.

  4. Yesterday when I went to see the hitchhikers guide I dropped by this hippie type store (the local movie theater is in a mall). I was looking around and they had this table with all sorts of rocks and minerals. I noticed a basket of silicon looking chunks with the label "silicon" with a price tag of $2 each. Of course I'm not just going to walk by it so I pick one up and ask the guy if he knows how pure it is. He said all he knew was that they were too pure for computer chips.

I think hes full of shit but I bought a chunk and it looks and feels like silicon so thats good enough for me. Anyway, its a rather nice sample and it weighs 40g.

  5. Was it good, did you like it, did it rock, TELL ME!

I thought it was entertaining, and I liked it but I don't think it rocked. Zaphod was absolutely hilarious though. Also, as far as most of the humor being in the writing goes, the movie had a small amount of narration, such as when the guide to the galaxy was quoted in the books.

Keep in mind that the screen play was written by Douglas Adams, which is both good and bad because it lowers the chances of a sequel with him being dead and all.

I thought it also focused too much on the relationship between Arthur and Trillian. It seemed kind of like a love story. That may just be me though.

    Anyway, GO SEE IT!!
