I am college student...so different scenerio but..

Sometimes I will use wikipedia as a reference...like for example I had a project on spectroscopy I need to remember how the photon/electron relationship worked, I'd check wikipedia.

I try to use more than one source too, wiki is cheating in a way but that the same time you have to re-word it (teachers are not dumb, they know if you are copying and pasting), I'd rather just get the concept and then write it all in my own words. I can even BS alittle here there with expanding the paragraphs by not put in useless words, but maybe borderline fancy for a technicial report...lol you know...

At the same time I can understand students who use it within a college setting because everything is rushed...around mid-term things get chaotic...you got 6 classes and you have to write 10 papers...tests...presentations...

After a while it just seem like your being rushed out of the place. Half the time exams don't even test "learnt" ability...Can you memorize this, or shorten test time with more content: "How can we trick into making mistakes to look as if we aren't give an easy exam"...where you're just flying through the test hoping you get it right.

As far as your concerned, I wouldn't worry. A person who takes short-cuts will never benefit in the long run, People that take the time to do it correctly will come out with alot more, it will show.

As soon as someone who goes on a killing spree plays the game (out of the 100's of thousand) suddenly these games are to blame...

I could understand if ...like 50% of the people who play this game will go out and kill someone, but...I think it's a bit pre-mature to assess that a person who is mental unstable was solely set off by a game, nevermind a stable person.

I mean more as to the average citizen. You know how we idolize actors instead of scientists. We sort of let the scientist work in the background and know nothing about them or the amazing work they do. Sadly though I guess if science was super popular it would be corrupted by politics and money like anything else.

lol, as funny as that is....It's the only way I can understand it. I can't get away from it either...If I was smart I could atleast study it without failling everything ( haven't tried but..not hard to assume)...but for some reason and I am sure alot of other people feel the same, they just have to know. I just don't understand why society isn't more interested in understanding the universe in general. I could go on forever on this...so I am going to stop.

That would make sense. It's oddly mixed up...I guess really any bases is kinda arbitrary, Depending on if you modify the system and you have pre-existing systems working off it, but that like a given.

Lately I've been into PRT (Poor Righteous Teachers)
