Well in all honesty, I`m not actualy sure HOW they make anti-matter here at all? so you`ve got me there, I just know that it has been done, and that soon after its creation it encounters it opposite and gives off aniti-matter anihilation radiation. but no I can`t answer how they do it? to my view though, it is a method of bridging the gap between phase differentials, and therefore only accelerating entropy and ballance.

ok, i just read your second post after I finished my last one, and I agree also with you to a point. I don`t see it as a Black and White split. our uni and the anti-uni, imagine it as a phasic joining. black to white and all transitional stages between, but still in essesce equal and opposite, that`s how I beleive we can make anti matter here and at the same time, the OTHER you would be making matter there there will be incidences far to random to calculate whereas the "blast" was more profound at this point than at another and so the degree of phase will differ (the grey part between black/white). but where it matches the matter in OUR KNOW universe, it will have it`s identical twin particle for particle distance for distance between them, and will do the same as it did here in OURS. that`s about the way I can ellucidate this for now, till yet, it`s only ever been a picure in my head that only I understood.

you make a good point, it is indeed a VERY simplistic analogy and designed to be taken at face value alone to explain the HOW. of course we know that universe is made of kazillions of different types of mater and all changing form as we type. but to split particle from it`s anitimater twin and make it secure, all that exists must be identical. any deviation from this would result in anihilation. I`ve probaly not explained this clearly as it`s not something I`ve ever vocalised myself, I only have the "picture" in my head.

well I recon there was ONE big bang. but that occured much later than the prior events. I recon matter was constantly being brought in and out of existence all the while. until sufficient matter came into being that it imploded with such violence as to make permenant the rift that allowed matter to exist in the 1`st place. I think on here in a different thread I posted my Penny and Bank analogy. how DO you get something from nothing? well,,, the fact is you cant without creating a simultanious defficite(sp?). ie/ you go into debt. you start with a bank ballance of 0 money but you walk out of the bank with a penny! a real and solid penny! but at the same time you still owe the bank a penny now the penny in your pocket is tangible and quite real and usable, the MINUS penny in your account is also just as real, and were the two to meet, they would self anihilate and you`de be left with nothing. since the same would have to happen on both sides identicaly (if not they`de self anihilate and we`de never know of them anyway) I conclude that although out of phase by an undetermined amount, the same course of events would occur on both sides of the equasion in an identical manner.

there would indeed be a time lag, and therefore not "identical" in a temporal sense, but a physical one definately. (this is only My OWN theory btw, and can cite nothing as a backup). One "Big Bang" 2 Universes (universes? universii Hmmm.. what is plural for universe?)

Well it`s long since been known for cosmic ray radicals to actualy blast small pits in the substrate of silicon chips for some time now. so I should imagine a cascade of the lil` buggers wouldn`t do ya much good! probably be needing a new cell fone and watch so you can time your calls from hospital

Time, a unit of measurement used to signify change, so I guess if there were nothing to change (no matter). by logic alone, there would be no time. I beleive the same would apply to space. without a frame of reference there can be no distance. so I subscribe to the "relationism" viewpoint.

Infinate expansion has now been proven. not down to low mass reasons, but we are being pushed appart by dark matter at an ever increasing rate, the big bang is actualy getting faster!

Loki, I`m sorry that you perceive it as rambling my point was merely that there need not be any contradiction between the "faster than light occurance" in your original post. I beleive this faster than light (reverse time travel) was 1`st acomplished at a university somewhere in Australia last year. A research institute in Germany did a limilar thing using lasers to accelerate particles that "broke" light speed also. An there is also another man (a Black guy, forgot his name) that has actualy built a working "time machine" nothing is contradicted though! Light speed is still a constant! the movement of space (hi grav) isn`t however (not that we know to as yet anyway). the catch with these machines is that a "message" can only ever be sent back to the time the machine was 1`st switched on. anyway, If it pleases, I`ll leave this thread now.

something similar to "dragon eggs" would prbably be a little more effective and less devastating, with the advantage that a massive area could be covered and well defined lines cut. something marble sized each for grass type fires and match head sided for thicker woods.

UFO`s (by nature of its name) most certainly exist, I have been witness to a few in my life also. as for flying saucers....Hmmm... the jury`s still out on that one the exploration of ANY phenomenon is a worthwill persuit IMO. so I agree with you, the gov should allow some money for this and spend a little on weapons perhaps? one Nuke could buy a hell of alot of Telescope time

heavy concentration requires Beta brain waves, they in turn stimulate a rise in blood pressure amongst other physiological changes, the brain uses up to 90% of the bodys Glucose to function, and so you can feel physicaly tired and also lose weight/calories simply by thinking! inversely Alpha brain waves (relaxed state) can be used to lower blood pressure also.

exactly what Glider said, he`s 100% on the mark there. the reason "maths" or any intensive concern creates feelings "in" your head is because of blood pressure alone causing vaso-constriction of the vessels within your head and on the surface, it also effects the sinus cavities, the brain itself as an entitiy is incappable of such feeling (imagine how insane you`de get if you had a brain itch!) sounds silly sure, but that`s the reason WHY it feels nothing

I did Sign Language last year with my wife (still waiting for pass/fail cert) I`de recomend it to anyone, It`s alot cooler than some may think! next year I hope to get into my Chem course to brush up and if that fails like last year (the reason I did sign lang as a backup) Then I`ll go for a Maths cert. yeah ok, my spelling maynot be upto snuff today, my bad. C cannot be eceeded, this is a true statement. However without breaking any of Einsteins laws, it is possible to travel faster than C in using a coupled effect in high grav circumstances (a black hole or the likes) time and space are rellative, if SPACE is moving at near c and you`re moving WITHIN that space at near C the net effect is greater. but ONLY where space itself is warped! hope that makes some kinda sense a bit?

Stir a cup of coffee that has some bubbles on top, what happens? centrifugal force SHOULD send them to the edge of the mug, but they fall in to the middle, the bubbles can`t move by themselves to the middle, the vortex pulls them in independant of gravity. flying at 90% c in space moving at 20% c will give you an outside velocity of 110% C, no laws are being broken! you`re still traveleing at 90%c in space your flash light on board would still not travel any faster than C either. that is the ONLY way C can be exceeded. it has also been done in lab tests using modulated HP lasers sending signals back in time by effectively breaking C, the beam was sent in a spiral and powerfull enough to generate its own gravitational pull (only slight) but enough to send signals back in time!
