how about being able to examine the Moon up close with a magnifying glass, or even better a Microscope! but it`ll never happen anyway, since the basic idea itself is flawed.

I had an idea that I thought might work but didn`t and I don`t know why? basically I wondered if I could make a sort of telescope by using a magnifying glass on the image of a distant object in a mirror, needless to say it Failed. so I tried a macro lens on my camera and that didn`t work either, I had to use the same focus distance as the object was far, in order to get a clear image. Even though the image was only a few inches away? can anyone explain in Simple Terms what`s going on? Cheers

it would be interesting to see the power usage of it say over 100m and compare it to more conventional propulsion (a fan blade for instance) to see which comes out the best when optimised. although it seems a little impractical "down here" it might be just perfect for upper atmosphere work above the weather, esp if some way of making the tail move could be done by solar heating/cooling, a bit like a Radiometer.

actually real Void Space, the tachyon or Photon would be able to travel through but lose much more energy than it would traveling through Normal space (based upon the the assumption that tachyons actually exists and there is no evidence for this yet). but I agree, it is almost indescribable/unexplainable in it`s nature, and we don`t have to go to the edge of the Universe to observe it (or rather Not observe it). I would also like to see evidence to support that space would "turn back on itself", there seems to be non that support it so far?
