Plagiarism, kind of
Sigh... My cheating cousin - see above - just sent me email with the following closing sentence:
-
Did God intend for people to have children after the departure from Eden?
I don't like it either, but apparently there is no rule against it. OTOH, it is easy to ignore.

perception of hinduism in a biased world
"Yug" is a measure of time, 4,320,000 years (12,000 divine years). "Sahastra" is a number, 1000. "Jojan" is a measure of distance, from 4 to 10 miles. Multiplying them does not make a distance, of course. Here is one of their propaganda articles: What is the meaning of line "Yug Shahstra Yojan par Bhanu" which is taken from Hanuman Chalisa? Twin paradox (split)
Because space and time rotate into each other without stretching. For c not to be invariant, they would need to rotate AND stretch.

What is the least number of smaller circles that can be fitted inside a mother circle under certain conditions?
I don't understand the new problem statement, specifically, the least value of n for a certain i, where i=1,2,3,...n.

What is the least number of smaller circles that can be fitted inside a mother circle under certain conditions?
Can you solve it for line segments instead of circles? I.e., What is the least number of smaller segments that can be fitted inside a mother segment under the following conditions: 1. The smaller segments cannot intersect or be contained inside any other segment besides the mother segment. 2. The lengths of the smaller segments must be N (N<1) times any existing segment inside the mother segment. 3. The system must contain the maximum number of segments of the same length as possible.

My 5 cents. This recent article seems to be on the topic: The Elite College Students Who Can’t Read Books - The Atlantic- The closer to the speed of light, the more length contraction in the direction of motion (SRT).
You are talking about a one-way trip, right? One just flies away and gone.- The closer to the speed of light, the more length contraction in the direction of motion (SRT).

This is encouraging. I will post a textbook for giveaway in the Scientific Education forum and see what happens. Unfortunately, shipping costs from here are not cheap.- Textbooks for giveaway
I think so as well but would like to hear from the G&MO to be sure. No worries. None of these hurricanes is/was anywhere close to us. No effect on us at all.- Textbooks for giveaway
I have some heavy weight textbooks that I don't need any more and would be glad to give them away for a cost of shipping. Is it OK to post such information on SFn? If so, where?- Principle of Causality and Inertial Frames of Reference

Yes, they are different. Degeneracy and non-degeneracy refer to how many codons, one or more, code for 1 amino acid. OTOH, ambiguity and unambiguity refer to how many amino acids, one or more, 1 codon codes for. - Changes in high school education and impact on colleges.
