  1. I personally think going into the field of robotics is a rewarding one. Not only that, but you get to put mathematical experience into work. School doesn't really teach people much about electronics would I find very sad since America had become a dispoable economy. If more people had experience, they would be able to fix their devices. Chemistry is also another fun thing you can learn to play with. You could go into pyrotechnics to play with the knowledge you have learned. I suggest you pick up the book Chemistry of Pyrotechnics: Basic Principles and Theory by John A. Conkling. That way you'll use some time in creating fireworks that are fun that you can have on your birthday, new years, or 4th of july. Some other things that are fun to do have to do with putting the things you've learned in school to use. If you go into robotics which I reccomend, you could go into programming also. When going into programming you use a lot of your mathematical experience in creating programs to help drive the robot around. Increasing your reading and comprehension speed would be another considerable thing to do. Try learning about different things, maybe take up a martial art. I always think it's a good idea for people to take martial arts. If you're not taking AP courses, I suggest you do. These courses help you obtain college credit. I personally like thinking up of ways majestic creatures such as dragons could have consisted. Certain types of acids being inflicted upon by electromagnetic waves to create nylon type wings. Could the dragon possibly have used this type of acid in it's body to create fire among villages? Biology is fun to study and becomes more realistic when you start to go into the chemicals and elements that alter the body of an organism or how they can survive them.
  2. What are your views on biomedicine vs. cybernetics.
  3. For the U.S.A.: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/about.html Or... full-time college student + loan? \ / *shrug* I don't want to turn this into a... Get the hell out of college A.S.A.P thread.. phi for all wouldn't like that.
  4. I like the middle english look. Casual: That's why I have a cloak. It's a nice black cloak unlike a trenchcoat that goes around me pretty well. Sometimes i'll have a surcoat under that. I'll wear boots with a studded belt and a studded choker around my neck. I've been meaning to find a fake gold chain with a marijuana leaf on it but haven't found one. The thing I like most about college is that they don't care what you wear, as long as it isn't trashy. That's why I also have those shades that you can't see through with the cool multicolor fade. Or else black shirt and blue jeans. I personally don't like dressing up whatsoever unless the occasion calls for it. That's why if I have to dress up ever, i'll dress up in all black and nothing else.
  5. Lied to a pharmacist about a chinese friend of mine using salt peter to make a chemical compound when he was sick to help cure himself. Snickered about someone's grandma having a seziure. I just think it's the funniest shit when people jost irradically. I'm morbid... Did a funeral play in drama the day after the teacher's father died. I had this thing planned out weeks ahead so i could remember lines.. it sucked man.. i regret that.. Lying to people. Those are the worst and stupidest things i've ever done. Don't lie. If you want to lie. Just don't speak.
  6. Sweet. I always hoped god would smite california. Their bisexual populus is growing too large.
  7. Tesla.... i still think they are located in the pyramids.....
  8. Wasn't this one created on April Fool's day for wikipedia?
  9. I graduated highschool early because I went to an Alternative Highschool. I got sick of regular highschool's crap early on in life because the kids were stupid, the teachers were too bossy, and the homework was outrageous. Homework becomes outrageous when you do more work than learning. I had 6 tests in one week. This totally burned me out. If I could go back in time though, I would have obtained my G.E.D.. The school burned me out and my G.P.A went to 1.3 or something like that.. But then I went to the alternative and made all As and Bs and brought it up to 2.7 If I could go wayy back in time though, I would have taken all A.P. classes. That way, highschool would have been worthwhile interesting. Trust me though, think about it.. graduating at age 16. You have two years left to obtain an Associate's degree. And to tell you the truth, some of the people in college really don't have that good of an education. If there is tutoring in your college I would take use of it right away. I would have taken my GED. Went to College. Obtained my Associates. Then I would have laughed at all my peers for wasting time. Trust me, if you have the social factor where you only go to school to find love or friends. It's total crap. Most women are actually mature around age 23 or so, unless they are Christian bred. By the way, when the pledge of allegiance came back, I was in this Alternative school. None of us stood. I personally, would not support an executive leader who wrongly uses the Armed Forces. Therefore I sat.
  10. Long read. Anyways, when I was young I would always rack my brain as to how everything could be the way it is now today. I developed this idea probably when I was 14 or so.. I see that many scientists are starting to pick up the idea of what I had when I was young. I would always be confronted with the idea of the big bang. I always thought the big bang was ridiculous and impossible for a possibilty to explain how the universe was created. My idea was that the Universe was of pure white light in the beginning. Kind of like that scene in the Matrix where the room is full of white light. Except in the beginning, there was really nothing around.. If this were possible, the universe would infinitely be expanded without end. This has to do with the mass into energy idea. If mass can be turned into energy and it gives off photons when brought to a new energy level then then shouldn't light be able to be turned into mass? Mass -> light light -> Mass If you can do one, you should be able to do the other. Newton's third law. For every action there is an equal and yet opposite reaction. This law is very true. Therefore it has to apply to the reality that things can be transformed from mass into energy and energy into mass. So let's imagine the universe was all white in the beginning. It was all calm and still and yet peaceful. There was a problem though that split everything apart crashing. I would like to think of this as evil. Not neccesarily evil though, I would have to call this creature that shattered the current state of the universe 'want'. You see, you can call free will the most powerful thing in the word, but that's not going to do you any good unless you want something. This is why I see the universe built on the principle of want. If the universe was white in the beginning, that means it was calm. I'd like to think there was a particle of white light that said, "I want to own the universe." All the other particles were like.. OMGWTFBBQ?! And they replied, "no." This then shattered the shared perfection among all of them that allowed them to stay at constant rest. Then light began to turn into mass, creating laws that things must abide by. I'd like to see this part where mass and physical law were being created as a big game. A game so that everyone had to share the universe and there were limits to thier power. This would make a person wonder why the universe continues though. How could that particle of light really have owned the whole universe. I don't really care anymore about how the universe was created. That is too simplistic. The think i'm more concerned with is why. If the how was light into mass. Light would condense into mass and change it's physical property through quantum physics. and space would be the darkness that surrounds it taking the place of where the light once was creating a vacuum. They why is probably a more interesting thing though. The only thing I could really think of that is logical is want. The only real property I see of in energy is want to be lazy. Energy likes to take the shortest path to the ground. Perhaps when all was white and light energy decided to be lazy and then the universe crumbled into what it is now.. Well that's just my outlook on the universe.. What would be more interesting to this though is if it were made out of some sublevel of light that we haven't discovered yet. I figure if there is a sublevel to light, than we could find a way to go faster than light. But if light is the ever changing factor of the universe that changes property, (hence without light we'd be screwed) than I guess there is a possibilty that something changes it within.. maybe i'm just crazy..
  11. I'm more interested in what things I should be studying. I'm going to have to aim towards physiology, anatomy, biology, electronics, neurology, and many other things, but I'm not too sure how far or how much in each subject I'll need. What's a good school to go to that is cheap and yet effective? I believe I can keep above a 3.2 GPA for the next few years. The university of reading located in the united kingdoms has professor Kevin Warwick which I'm very interested in becoming a pupil of. I don't know the exact steps I need to take in order to become great at cybernetics though. I'm interested in replacing fingers and other moving body parts with cybernetic implants.. My real goal would be putting 10 gigs of secondary storage in my head. Like Johnny Mnemonic...
  12. O.o duh? I consider engineering here to be too broad. I rather have it condensed to a particular forum. Thanks for the.. uh.. input though.
  13. not dutch force.. i've got that one.. not electronic's lab either.. i've got that one... i'm looking for other forums that are just as good as those..
  14. Ok, I come from a crappy school. I don't have much knowledge in lots of stuff. Where do I start? Highschool GPA 2.7 College GPA 4.0 I go to a community college. It's 90 minutes from chicago on I-90.
  15. It has been said because instinct tells the male that the woman would create good offspring with similar breasts. I like them because I could use them as a comfy pillow.
