  1. Sir, I am reading the article that you provided as we speak. Much appreciated, really but It's like I asked you for food and you threw a burger on the floor disrespectfully. I got what I wanted just not how I was supposed to.
  2. Thank you oh mighty one! Concede what? I never made any assertion that I know anything about the Trump administration. Thanks for: ...
  3. Ahaha DrP, if we discover fish people on other planets within our lifetime (I assume you are in your late 20's early 30's) you have to post a video on the forum with you eating a hat.
  4. Guys, I really hope you wont get offended. I am not an american so of course I trust you know better the inner workings of this situation but reading some comments I feel like this looks too much like House of cards president Francis Underwood. I am not excluding the possibility that Russia interfered with the election but as an outsider, these sound to me like big conspiracy theories. Do you guys have any valid source? article? something? (No Fox news stuff)
  5. What are you talking about here?
  6. Interesting theory. I never imagined intelligent aliens as aquatic creatures before. Finally I'm reading about some interesting fantasy with some scientific arguments at it's roots.
  7. Oh I read it. I am not referring to comments or views shared by the 2 people mentioned there. I replied to Lord Antares who as far as I have seen is a rational smart individual. What I was trying to express is that I have doubt that some people really believe/live by the things that they are saying.
  8. You broke your own rule Lord Antares. Don't get involved in such threads haha. I totally understand getting down-voted when you argue with a scientific fact or try to deny it but during political, philosophical and other general discussions - the majority wins no matter if they are right. Stating your opinion that slightly differs the majority one is rarely welcome. Another thing is that people are afraid to be honest. If I asked all of you if you ever stole something in your life 99% would say no yet you all did it in one way or another. Same as the discussion with women. Most of you are talking like you are fighting for women's rights every day. I really hope you reflect that in your day to day behavior. The double standards on this thread really hurts. What if you read an article saying that Hellen Mirren was doing the same Weinstein things to her male interns. Would you fight for human rights the same way like you guys are now? would you get so defensive? And don't give me that "rape" men are stronger that women crap as I really don't think Weinstein was overpowering these women physically. He was doing it mentally. Would we see the same fiery participation if it was Hellen we are talking about?
  9. I've been thinking about this post many times since it first popped up. It's become an obsession. I find myself waiting for the bus and imagining a immortal scientist looking at an immortal scribe monkey typing, waiting for her to write hamlet and after 10^184000 years it's almost done. And on the last word of the last sentence the monkey types: And they all lived happily ever after, the enb. The scientists then flips and chases the monkey. That's what you guys and your post did to me! People think about problems and solutions, I think about poet chimps.
  10. The_Believer1 I believe you should be a writer for rom-coms or a preacher. I see some real talent.
  11. Read what I said again. Especially the does not part.
  12. You can have one photon "occupying some space" and have additional unlimited number of additional photons in the same "space". The photon does not obey the Pauli exclusion principle. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pauli_exclusion_principle
  13. Wow I did not know physicians know so much about physics.
  14. I think we are taking it a bit too far. Soon people will be afraid to express themselves if we make such assertions. While I do not agree with tar at all, we should try to disagree with him with arguments not labels.
  15. My new signature. Dad of the year.
  16. You said your daughters are obligated to please you..... I really didn't want to get into this further.
  17. Free will planet. Visit me here sometime.
  18. I am sure everyone would be fighting over you. I can see you are displeased with the current state of society but you are bringing up many many topics that need to be taken up separately I think. Your family also has no obligation to please you.
  19. These are your claims published. Are you trying to back up your claims in the last The Allais Effect Solved thread with papers that you published as proof?
  20. Well they are comparing a dairy product to another. Not exactly proving your point. Also without any conspiracy reference I just stumbled incidentally on some studies and marketing adds from the 30's to 60's on the benefits of cigarettes as some studies showed.I am NOT in any way comparing dairy products to this phenomenon BUT there was a boom in beef consumption in the 60's-70's so encouragement of dairy consumption(lets say as a by-product of cattle herding) was a very good economical incentive.
  21. I humbly accept the fact that one cannot digest Lego pieces. I exaggerated the stomachs capabilities in a failed attempt to strengthen my point.
  22. You can digest Lego pieces as well Strange, doesn't mean they are good for you. As I mentioned, dairy has benefits. It's just not the ideal nutrition. Citation needed. Strange: I don't agree. Haha that was established in the premise.
  23. We had this discussion before Strange, where I said that our digestive system is not yet adapted to this modern dairy diet and you did not agree. Humans started eating dairy 8000 years ago. While some of us are able to digest milk, it does not mean that it is necessarily healthy. The above article will describe what genes are necessary to digest it and it does not mention any harmful effects of dairy as that is not it's point. I do agree that it was and still is a good source of nutrition and helped us survive and prosper but it is not ideal. The same way as eating McDonalds on a deserted island would be "healthier" than not eating anything. Regarding the Tomato combination with meat, It's pretty improbable that there is a case study specifically for these 2 ingredients so I hope that you will accept a study about combining fruit and meat as that is essentially what a tomato is. As I took two specific examples from DrP's Pizza ingredient breakdown it's like searching the internet for: Who would win in a fight? A polar bear or a Pellican? While there have (I assume) been no studies made for this specific scenario I can only assume that the bear would win by a hair or two.
  24. You are right regarding the first two sources. To be honest my first two sources kind of fall as my knowledge about the tomato subject comes from my mom who is a retired psychiatrist/nutritionist rational skeptical woman haha. I will ask her to guide me to some relevant sources. But the sources for the dairy topic are from Department of public health so not exactly your typical FoxNews article. Bottom line is that it's really hard to find pertinent studies on diet with all the woo on the internet.
  25. I'm not trying to change or convince you of anything. Just read about stomach acidity.(ph) To digest melon you need a far lower acidity level than you would need for red meat.
