    Hi, Can anyone give me an example of each of the type of mutations. I have tried researching but im getting more and more confused. Insertions Missense mutation Nonsense Splice site I know the diseases with deletions and microdeletions, and repeat amplifications, but not sure about these ones. Also, would you consider huntington disease as a trinucleotide repeat amplification or insertion/deletion ? Please help !

    I thought it was (1+01)* but apparently it's not since L((0+10)*) defines all expressions where 1 is followed by 0, I thought that the complement was all expressions where 0 is followed by 1.

Assuming that the reaction did not go to completion, how many grams of Zn did react? So the equation I got what Zn (s) + 2AgNO3 (aq) -> 2Ag (s) + Zn(NO3)2 (s) I think the zinc nitrate is solid because the question asks about a metallic solid. Then, 12.32 g X 1 mol/189.41 g Zn(NO3)2 = .065 mol Zn(NO3)2 Then to find the original Zn, .065 mol X 1 mol Zn/1mol Zn(NO3)2 = .065 mol Zn .065 mol Zn X 65.39 g/1 mol = 4.25 g Zn But the answer should be 1 g Zn. What did I do wrong?

Au What I'm confused about is how the grams impact the problem. I tried doing it without considering the grams and got it wrong, so I know they do something. Then I tried it like this. Chlorine has an oxidation of -1 and oxygen is -2 and because there are 3 oxygen atoms in the molecule, that means that the total charge on the oxygen is -6 which means that M must have a charge of +3. Aluminum is the only choice that has a charge of +3, but then what is the point of the first part of the sentence?

I can take two of the equations and get rid of a variable, then I need to take two more equations and get rid of the same variable. This is what I have so far. Because Ive read it so many times I just decided to rewrite everything exactly from my book! I also "rewrote" 2 examples after the theory.
