Hello everyone! I am trying to solve a Math question, but due to how hard it is I am not able to find the answer. In the attachment you see a triangle, what I am trying to find out is the values of those variables. If you could help me find the value of "Z" I am pretty sure that it would be eassier for me to find the rest. Thank you in advacne for the help!

Hi I am working on balancing some equations in chemical reactions. I have worked hard, but am still stuck, and now feeling very unsure of myself. Could anyone see if these are done correctly, and if not, help me see what I am doing wrong here? (also how to do subscripts and superscripts here?) My equation in need of balancing: Al(OH)3 + H2SO4 ----> Al2(SO4)3 + H2O my answer: 2Al(OH)3 + 3H2SO4 ---> Al2(SO4)3 + 3H20 Is this correct? It looks like it to me, but am not sure. Any help GREATLY appreciated!

Q1. One of the important features of gamete formation is the generation of bio-diversity. What are the two processes that account for the genetic variation among gametes formed by meiosis (reduction division)? Draw diagrams to explain your answers. Q2. Describe the differences between cancer cells and normal cells. Am only able to find one difference so far- a cancer cell's rate of division is not controlled.

Hi, I need help with my chemistry homework. This has to do with chemical bonding. These are only some of the questions the teacher gave me. Describe: The force that bonds two hydrogen atoms in a hydrogen molecule, H2 The relationship between the bond energy of a molecule and its bond strength Which is more stable, compounds with high bond energies or low bond energies Given the following bond length: Molecule 1. F2 2. Cl2 3. Br2 4. I2 Bond Length 1. 141 pm 2. 199 pm 3. 228 pm 4. 267 pm Bond Energy 1. 156 KJ/mole 2. 243 KJ/mole 3. 193 KJ/mole 4. 151 KJ/mole Explain the general trend that a bond length increase…

If you read this thread, either help me to slove it or stay away. Please do not leave any unuseful notes or comments. Answers and steps are highly appreciated. Thank you all for reading. 1) At 10 p.m. a 5 foot 6 inch tall young lady is directly below a street lamp which is on a pole 25 feet in the air. This young lady begins walking in a straight line away from the street at 6 feet per second. After how many seconds is the shadow she casts 11 feet long? 2) Given triangle ABC. Let E be a point on line AB and D be a point on line AC such that line DE // line BC and BD bisects angle ABC. If AE=4, AC=18 and BC=15 then what is the length of DC?

I'm running a slab gel electrophoresis project for a Chemistry class I'm taking, but for some reason, I cannot correctly see the banding patterns of my experiment for some reason. I have followed the instructions provided by an expert in the field, but I must be doing something wrong, on account of the fact that rather than getting a proper banding pattern when viewing the slabs under a UV box, I get odd streaks on the reused agarose slab, and nada on the newer one (See attached picture). My question: How does one properly use the SYBR green to get the banding patterns. I obviously am doing something wrong. If you need to know what I did, then here it is. After I…

I am not feeling challenged by my current workload at school, so I decided to do an independent project. I am in 9th grade and my options are somewhat limited. "Project" probably isn't the best word it's really and independent study. I'm looking for specific subjects not just broad topics like "Study CHemistry!!!!" My current idea is to study evolution, specifically the debate of Group vs. Individual selection. I am interested in everything though, so spout some ideas please!

I have recently been asked to define "scientific reduction" using a bunch of articles handed out. However, I'm completing the excecise in order to dodge a test, so none of the papers I'm supposed to use are yet available for reference! I've understood that "scientific reduction" is something Karl Popper has discussed, yet so far I have failed to locate a strict definition of his, even though Sir Poppers seems to have used it quite a lot in his immense literature. Any help would be greatly appreciated, guys!

Greetings, I was wondering if someone could help me with some of my chemistry difficulty. I have to do an experiment to find the solubility of calcium hydroxide. I have gone as far as to prepare the saturated solution of calcium hydroxide and to plan a titration with HCl. My problem is that I do not know what concentration of HCl I should use, how would I calculate a reasonable amount? Also, correct me if this is wrong. If I measure out 0.5g of calcium hydroxide dissolve it in water, filter it through a funnel and then titrate the saturated solution, I will be able to compare it with the original mass I measure out. To compare the solubility would I just say the mass …
