I'm new here and I need some help with the stats/graphing aspect of my college level-environmental science homework, and since I've browsed this forum more then a few times I thought that some of the good folks here could help me! So here's a grade 11 physics question my teacher showed to the class with us. John is studying on a cliff 250m high. He throws a rock HORIZONTALLY with an initial velocity of 12.0 m/s (from his height). a) How long did it take the rock to hit the ground below? ;)Hi there! I am doing a coursework on the practical 'kinetics of the reaction between iodine and propanone in acid solution' however I cannot find anything on the internet stating the litrature value for the order of reaction for Iodine, please would you advise me what to type to get this value.Could you leave the address of where you found it. The problem with online learning is they give you nothing to work with except questions. I did absolutely nothing on this topic so some help would be nice. Design a laboratory set-up that would enable you to separate a mixture of three hydrocarbons with different boiling points. Explain the reasons for the apparatus you would need in your set-up, and develop the procedure you will use to separate the hydrocarbons. "John is 1.5m tall and throws an orange at a velocity of 15m/s. It just barely clears a 5m tall wall at the peak of its trajectory. At what angle did he throw the ball? How far away is John from the wall?" So pretty much, the only thing I can't remember is how to find Vx and Vy. (To get the angle.) I know I have to break V down into components to find the angle, and I know V will be the hypotenuse of the triangle used to find the angle. Would I just use formulas to find Vf to find Vy (If I remember correctly, V is also Vx to begin with)? All I need is to know whether you find Vf to get Vy, I have the formulas for that. If the parents (of the F1 gen) of a dihybrid cross are not true-breeding, will you still see a 9:3:3:1 ratio in the F2 generation? I did a bunch of dihybrid crosses on Kansas State Uni's website (found it on google), and literally all of the F2 generation punnet squares were not in 9:3:3:1. For example, one had 10 of a certain phenotype, another problem had 8 for a given phenotype. I started to scratch my head, because all of the questions that I answered were correct (like when it asked for a given genotype number, it'd be correct, etc).
