Right, but this is the classical picture. One expects that the classical singularity is not physically realised. Quantum gravity, whatever that is exactly, may regulate this singularity making eveything finite.

 

It should be interesting to follow the evolution and form a black hole as a result of the collapse of a star, but in fact it is impossible....

For realistic matter distributions one cannot hope to understand this without numerical methods. Indeed there has been many studies, starting from the 1960's even, on numerical relativity and gravitational collapse. This is outside my area of expertese, so a quick google will produce refreences for you.

 

In addition it is impossible to see the fall of any object inside the hole. [Note that Einstein's theory does not "prove" this; that requires actual evidence. His explanation of black holes was just as theoretical as Laplace's.]

This is a very confusing sentence. It is true that larger black holes have a lower temperature but they are not "billions of degrees" kelvin. They are nearly zero.

Sometimes people talk about the surface gravity of a black hole.

 

Anyway, if we equate curvature with 'force of gravity' then it looks like we have a singularity ( "= infinite gravity") at the event horizon of the Schwarzschild black hole when we use 'standard' coordinates. However, this is not really a singularity, but just a measure of our poor choice of coordinates: using other coordinates you can see that nothing 'funny' happens at the horizon.

I agree that "force of gravity" is poorly defined in GR, but there are a few meaningful ways to interpret what it means for a Schwarzschild BH. For example, the "force required to hold a particle stationary at a particular r-value." This force does indeed go to infinity as r->2M.
