fiveworlds
I want to make a small homemade electrocardiogram machine. That will run on my computer. I found a small tutorial here http://www.eng.utah.edu/~jnguyen/ecg/ecg_index.html which lists some materials to use with a small circuit board but am unsure where to begin. fiveworlds
From going to electronic shop for breadboard and electronic elements? That would be too easy there are no electronics stores around here so I would have to order them online.
Sensei
You could alternatively take broken/not used old electronics, like video player, amplifier etc. and find needed parts in it. Edited September 27, 2014 by Sensei

fiveworlds
You could alternatively take broken/not used old electronics, like video player, amplifier etc. and find needed parts in it. I usually do that. I think you are in the UK? http://www.maplin.co.uk/ That's actually a good site and they sell capacitors etc. And that's a problem because ...? It isn't I was really asking about the quality of the information on the site I would rather not waste money if it won't work. Ah, sorry. Didn't realise that. Had a quick skim. I don't really know enough about the specific application to comment. Seems reasonable, though.
